Chris Tierney has been reassigned to Charlotte (AHL).

Tierney had two goals, one assist, three shots and a +1 plus/minus rating in five games with the Panthers but will head back down to Charlotte (AHL) for the second time this season. The 28-year-old had three goals, 13 assists, 10 PIMs and a -5 plus/minus in 19 games with the Checkers before his promotion.

Vejmelka will start Tuesday in Florida.

Vejmelka allowed five goals on 35 shots (.857 SV%) to end a two-game winning streak as he lost to Tampa Bay in his previous start. The 26-year-old has been solid on a very weak team this season, with his 11-10-4 record, .907 SV% and 3.16 GAA. He takes on the Florida Panthers, who will be hoping for some better luck after dropping five of their last six games.

Givani Smith has been recalled from Charlotte (AHL).

Smith has two goals, three assists, and 49 PIMS across 22 games with both Charlotte and Grand Rapids in the AHL. He heads back to Florida for his second NHL stint of the season after picking up seven PIMs in his one-game showing earlier in the season.

Knight will likely start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Knight allowed four goals on 34 shots (.882 SV%) for his third-straight loss in a defeat to Carolina in his last start. The 21-year-old has struggled as of late which has led to his 8-6-3 record, 3.00 GAA and .907 SV%. He faces the Arizona Coyotes, who rank last in the NHL in shots per game (24.8) but 26th in goals per game (2.89).

Thompson stopped 33 of 37 shots (.892 SV%) to snap a two-game losing streak with a victory over Nashville his last time out. The 25-year-old rookie has been a Calder Trophy front-runner this season, due to her 17-9-1 record, 2.64 GAA and .915 SV%. He will draw the Colorado Avalanche Monday, who will be looking to snap a three-game losing skid after a 6-2 loss to Toronto in their last game.

Kaedan Korczak has been recalled from Henderson (AHL) and will be in the lineup Monday.

Korczak had two goals, six assists, 18 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 30 games with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL) but has been recalled for the first time to Vegas Monday. He will draw into the lineup Monday for the second time in his career after 1 game played in 2021-22.

Byron Froese has been recalled from Henderson (AHL) and will make his season debut Monday.

Froese had six goals, 15 assists, 30 PIMs and is a +3 plus/minus through 32 games with Henderson (AHL) and has been recalled Monday. He will join the lineup right away and will look to build on his 17 career NHL points (6G/11A) throughout 116 games played.

Ersson will start Monday in Anaheim.

Ersson stopped 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%) to stay undefeated and pick up his second straight victory with a win over Los Angeles in his last start. The 23-year-old has done enough while filling in for an injured Carter Hart, with his 2-0-0 record, 3.58 GAA and .885 SV%. He will take on Anaheim, who has lost four of their last five games after a 6-1 loss to Nashville in their last game.

John Gibson will start Monday vs. Philadelphia.

Gibson allowed six goals on 43 shots (.860 SV%) for his third loss in four starts as he picked up the loss to Nashville in his last start. The 29-year-old has had a horrendous season, with his 6-15-3 record, 3.97 GAA, and .898 SV%. He takes on the Philadelphia Flyers, who have won their last two games after a 4-2 win over Los Angeles in their last game.

Poehling was originally a game-time decision due to an upper-body injury but will play Monday in the Winter Classic. The 23-year-old has four goals, four assists, 34 SOG and is a +3 plus/minus through 31 games played this season.
