Jarvis and Sebastian Aho were moved into COVID-19 protocol after positive tests on Monday, meaning they will have to stay in Vancouver and are not expected to be available in Minnesota on Tuesday.
Aho was a late scratch on Sunday with what was called a non-COVID illness. He must have tested positive on Monday, leading to him being placed on the protocol list and being left behind in Vancouver. Seth Jarvis was also placed on the protocol list.
Dahlstrom has played in 64 career NHL games with the Blackhawks and Jets. The 26-year-old has picked up four assists in 18 AHL games this season. If he plays on Tuesday, it would be Dahlstrom's Maple Leafs debut.
