NHL Hockey Player News
Johansson suffered a broken arm in Game 3 and underwent surgery on Friday. Johansson is expected to miss the rest of the playoffs and may have played his final game in a Wild uniform.
Evans was banged up in Game 1 vs. the Maple Leafs and will not play in Game 2 on Saturday. Jesperi Kotkaniemi will draw into the lineup to replace him.
Kotkaniemi was a healthy scratch for Game 1 vs. Toronto but will replace Jake Evans (undisclosed) in the lineup for Game 2. Kotkanieimi, who will centre the fourth line, had 20 points (5G / 15A) in 56 games this season.
Tavares will miss at least two weeks with the knee injury but the concussion is a little more uncertain. All in all, this is great news for Tavares who was stretchered off following a scary collision in Game 1. Look for Alex Galchenyuk to draw in and replace Tavares in Game 2.
