Malkin (lower-body) will be a game-time decision for Game 3.

Unlike the first two games, Malkin took part in line rushes and power-play work during the morning skate, so it looks like he will play in Game 3 vs. the Islanders. Malkin was on PP1 and centred the second line with Jason Zucker and Kasperi Kapanen on his wings.

Nash (knee) will make his Maple Leafs debut in Game 1 vs. Montreal.

Nash was acquired from the Blue Jackets ahead of the NHL's trade deadline and is set to make his debut on Thursday. Nash will serve as the Maple Leafs' No.3 centre and will most likely be called upon to take a lot of the D-zone faceoffs.
