Subban (upper-body) will not play on Thursday.

Subban was forced to leave Tuesday’s game after playing just 7:07 TOI and will not play tonight in Arizona. With Subban out, Mattias Ekholm should see more power-play time and Dan Hamhuis is expected to make his return to the lineup.

P.K. Subban
Lundqvist is expected to start Thursday against the Islanders.

Lundqvist stopped 25 of 26 shots in the Rangers win over the Canucks on Monday. In his last five starts, Lundqvist has gone 4-0-1 with a 2.13 GAA and .933 SV%. Lundqvist has played well this season (.923 SV%), but comes into Thursday’s game at 1-3-2 with a 3.10 GAA and .908 SV% on the road.

Henrik Lundqvist
Domingue will start Thursday in Pittsburgh.

Domingue allowed two goals on 19 shots in the Lightning’s 2-1 loss to the Sabres on Tuesday. With Andrei Vasilevskiy on IR, Domingue becomes the Lightning’s No.1 netminder for the foreseeable future. Domingue has a 3.43 GAA and .887 SV% in five games this season, so he’ll need to be a lot better while Vasilevskiy is sidelined.

Louis Domingue
Jones will start Thursday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Jones allowed four goals on 34 shots in the Sharks win over the Predators on Tuesday. The 28-year-old netminder is 4-1-0 despite surrendering a combined 15 goals on 137 shots (.891 SV%) in his last five starts. Jones is 6-1-1 with a 2.49 GAA and .907 SV% on home-ice but the Maple Leafs provide a real stiff test tonight.

Martin Jones
Andersen will start Thursday in San Jose.

Andersen stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Maple Leafs win in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Andersen is red-hot, winning four in a row while turning aside 127 of the 130 shots (.977 SV%) that he has faced. As good as Andersen has been, the Sharks are one of the NHL’s best team and come in ranked 11th in the NHL in goals (3.21 GF/pg).

Frederik Andersen
Korpisalo will likely start with Sergei Bobrovsky (illness) out.

Korpisalo allowed four goals on 19 shots in the Blue Jackets 5-4 shootout loss to the Rangers on Saturday. Korpisalo has struggled in his last three starts, allowing a combined 10 goals on 56 shots (.821 SV%). With Bobrovsky sick, Korpisalo will make his eight start of the season tonight. The 24-year-old allowed four goals on 41 shots in a 5-4 win in his first start vs. the Panthers.

Joonas Korpisalo
Arvidsson will miss 6-8 weeks with a broken thumb.

Arvidsson missed three games with a lower-body injury before returning last Saturday, when he suffered a broken thumb. Arvidsson will be out until at least late-December, which means Kevin Fiala and Colton Sissons will continue to see expanded roles. Top prospects Elli Tolvanen could be called up to fill-in for Arvidsson.

Viktor Arvidsson
Elliott is expected to start Thursday vs. the Devils.

Elliott allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Flyers loss to the Panthers on Tuesday. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Elliott, who is now 3-4-0 with a 2.76 GAA, .911 SV% and one shutout on home-ice this season. In his first start vs. New Jersey, Elliott stopped 19 of 21 shots in a 5-2 win in mid-October.

Brian Elliott
Kuemper will start Thursday vs. the Predators.

Kuemper was yanked after allowing five goals on 17 shots in the Coyotes loss in Detroit on Tuesday. Kuemper has had a really tough time in his last five games, allowing a combined 19 goals on 152 shots (.875 SV%). With Kuemper’s struggles and the Predators in town, he’s best left on the bench tonight.

Darcy Kuemper
Bachman will start Thursday in Minnesota.

With Anders Nilsson hurt and Jacob Markstrom fatigued, Bachman will make his first NHL start tonight in Minnesota. Bachman struggled mightily in the AHL before being called-up, going 1-4-0 with a 4.23 GAA and .865 SV% in Utica. Keep Bachman on the waiver wire tonight.

Richard Bachman
Chara left Wednesday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Chara left the game late in the first period and did not return. Chara was hurt when he tried to hit Carl Soderberg and his knee appeared to twist awkwardly. The Bruins recalled Connor Clifton from Providence (AHL), which suggests that Chara is going to miss some time.
