Miller starts Saturday vs. the Wild.

Miller surrendered four goals on 32 shots in the Canucks’ loss to the Sharks on Thursday. Miller has lost three in a row while allowing a combined nine goals on 96 shots (.906 SV%) and tonight he’ll make his 32nd start of the season. In his first start against Minnesota, Miller stopped 38 of 42 shots in a 5-4 win.

Jones will start Saturday vs. the Coyotes.

Jones turned away 32 of 33 shots in the Sharks’ win in Vancouver on Thursday. Jones has won six of his last seven starts while posting a strong 1.86 GAA and .932 SV%—elevating him near the top of the fantasy netminder conversation. So far in 2016-17, he is 1-1-1 with a 2.35 GAA and .907 SV% vs. the Coyotes.

Rinne is expected to start Saturday vs. the Red Wings.

Rinne stopped all 31 shots that he faced in the Predators’ shutout win over the Oilers on Thursday. Rinne has won four of his last five starts while posting an impressive 2.18 GAA and .930 SV%. Rinne will look to continue his roll against a Red Wings team who comes into town on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Mrazek will start again on Saturday.

Mrazek allowed four goals on 36 shots in the Red Wings’ win over the Islanders last night. Mrazek looked shaky, but it was enough for him to get the win and earn another start tonight. Mrazek has had a tough season and wins have been hard to come by, expect that to be the case again tonight in Nashville.

Crawford will start Saturday in Dallas.

Crawford allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Blackhawks’ win in Arizona on Thursday. Crawford wasn’t great, but did just enough to earn his 19th win of the season. Crawford is notorious for being better at home than on the road and this year is no different—he is 8-8-0 with a 2.91 GAA and .906 SV% on the road.

Neuvirth leads the Flyers onto the ice for warmups.

Neuvirth allowed one goal on 16 shots in the Flyers’ win over the Canadiens on Thursday. It was an easy night for Neuvirth, who has won his last two starts while turning aside 42 of 44 shots (.955 SV%). This afternoon he faces the Kings for the second time this season—he stopped 23 of 25 shots in a 4-2 win in his first start of the season.

Budaj leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Budaj stopped all 22 shots that he faced in the Kings’ shutout win over the Avalanche on Wednesday. Budaj has won four in a row while allowing just three goals on 101 shots (.970 SV%) with two shutouts. This afternoon he starts in Philadelphia—the 34-year-old is 9-9-2 with a 1.81 GAA and .934 SV% on the road this season.

The Oilers have recalled Griffin Reinhart from Bakersfield (AHL).

Reinhart has not appeared in a game with the Oilers this season after suiting up for 29 last year. In 29 games with Bakersfield, the 23-year-old has collected five goals and six assists (11 points).

Allen will start Saturday vs. the Penguins.

Allen allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Blues’ win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. It was a much-needed win for Allen, who had been struggling mightily before Thursday. It’s been a tough season for Allen, but his numbers on home-ice are solid—13-5-2 with a 2.44 GAA and .908 SV%.

The Maple Leafs have claimed Alexey Marchenko off of waivers from the Red Wings.

Marchenko was a healthy scratch for the last five games and has recorded just six assists in 30 games this season. With Brendan Smith returning to action on Saturday, the Red Wings had to waive a defenseman and Marchenko was the casualty. Marchenko played under Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock in 2014-15.
