Elliott is in the starter's crease this afternoon.

Elliott allowed one goal on 14 shots in the Flames’ win over the Canucks last Friday. It was an easy outing for Elliott, who has won his last two starts while stopping 38 of 41 shots (.927 SV%) in the process. His 2016-17 hasn’t been impressive, but he makes for a solid start vs. a struggling Avalanche team.

Pickard will start Tuesday vs. the Flames.

Pickard made 38 saves on 39 shots in Colorado’s OT win in Chicago last Friday. Pickard snapped a personal four-game losing streak and was his sixthhof the season. Tonight he faces the Flames on home-ice, where he is 1-4-1 with a 2.93 GAA an .896 SV% so far this season.

Anisimov (upper-body) will return to the Blackhawks lineup on Tuesday.

Anisimov missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, but he will be back between Patrik Kane and Artemi Panarin tonight vs. the Jets. Anisimov has scored 14 goals and 13 assists (27 points) in 32 games this season.

Hossa (upper-body) will not play on Tuesday.

Hossa will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury. Hossa is expected to miss the next few games, but he is hopeful that he will be able to play in the Winter Classic. Hossa was moved to IR in order to activate Artem Anisimov for tonight’s game.

Lehtonen was the first goalie off of the ice.

Lehtonen gave up two goals on 31 shots in the Stars’ win over the Kings last Friday. The Stars tend to ride the hot hand, which right now is Lehtonen, so he starts in Arizona tonight. Lehtonen has gone 4-7-2 with a 2.91 GAA and .88 SV% in 12 starts and one relief appearance on the road this season.

Hellebuyck will start Tuesday in Chicago.

Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Jets’ loss in Vancouver last Tuesday. Michael Hutchinson started on Thursday, but they’ll come back to Hellebuyck tonight in Chicago. Playing in Chicago is always a tough test, but Hellebuyck is 2-0-0 with a 0.50 GAA, .981 SV% and one shutout in two starts vs. the Blackhawks this season.

Fleury will start Tuesday in New Jersey.

Fleury stopped 23 of 24 shots in the Penguins’ win over the Devils on Friday. It was a nice outing for Fleury, who will take on the Devils again tonight. Despite some subpar numbers this season, Fleury plays behind on of the most powerful offences in the league and makes for a solid option when his number is called.

Crawford will start Tuesday vs. the Jets.

Crawford allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Blackhawks’ OT loss to the Avalanche last Thursday. Despite the loss, it was a great return to the crease for Crawford who had previously missed 10 games after undergoing an appendectomy. Crawford will face the jets at the United Center, where he is 7-1-3 with a 1.89 GAA and .940 SV% this season.

Rask will start Tuesday in Columbus.

Rask gave up one goal on 30 shots in the Bruins’ win in Florida on Thursday. Anton Khudobin started on Friday, but Rask will get back in goal tonight in Columbus. Rask will be in tough against a scorching hot Blue Jackets team, but he has already beat them twice while posting a 2.51 GAA and .896 SV% this season.

Halak will start Tuesday vs. the Capitals.

Halak allowed four goals on 38 shots in the Islanders’ loss to the Capitals on December 13th. J-F Berube and Thomas Greiss have started the last five games, but Halak will be back in the crease tonight. It will be his third start against the Capitals—Halak is 1-1-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .947 SV% in the first two meetings.

Holtby is in the starter's crease this morning.

Holtby stopped all 23 shots that he faced in the Capitals’ shutout win over the Lightning on Friday. Holtby has gone 5-2-2 with a 1.64 GAA and .943 SV% in December tonight he will make his fourth start of the season vs. the Islanders. Holtby is 2-1-0 with a 2.04 GAA and .923 SV% in the first three.

Bobrovsky will start Tuesday vs. the Bruins.

Bobrovsky turned aside 36 of 37 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win vs. the Canadiens before the break. Bobrovsky has won 10 in a row while posting a 1.40 GAA and .947 SV%. He has been absolutely outstanding in 2016-17, but has lost his first two starts against the Bruins, while posting a 7.60 GAA and .800 SV%.

Schneider will start Tuesday vs. the Penguins.

Schneider allowed four goals on 39 shots in the Devils’ loss in Pittsburgh before the break. The Devils will take on the Penguins again tonight and Schneider will look to turn in a better performance. The 30-year-old has had a tough month, going 2-5-2 with a 3.42 GAA and .890 SV% in nine December starts.
