Andersen is the Maple Leafs' projected starter.

Andersen allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Maple Leafs’ loss in Montreal on Saturday. October was an ugly month for Andersen, who finished at 2-2-3 with a 3.67 GAA and .876 SV%. Things have been looking up over the last few starts, but his matchup on Tuesday should keep him glued to your fantasy bench. The Edmonton Oilers are 7-2-0 and are averaging 3.22 goals per game (6th in the NHL).

Frederik Andersen
Lundqvist is expected to start in goal after getting Sunday off.

Lundqvist allowed three goals on 21 shots in the Rangers’ loss in Carolina last Friday. With Antti Raanta starting on Sunday, look for Lundqvist to return to the crease vs. the Blues. Lundqvist had an OK October, going 4-3-0 with a 2.45 GAA and .901 SV%. Thankfully for Lundqvist, the Rangers currently lead the NHL in scoring, which means the wins should continue to rack up.

Nikita Soshnikov
Greiss will start Tuesday vs. the Lightning.

Greiss allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Islanders’ 5-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Sunday. The outstanding performance earned Greiss another start tonight vs. the visiting Lightning. Greiss made four starts in October, winning two of them while posting a 2.28 GAA and .925 SV%. Tampa Bay comes in averaging 2.89 goals per game, making him a bit risky tonight.

Rakell (abdomen) was a full participant in Monday’s practice; expected to make his season debut on Tuesday.

Rakell missed the first nine games of the season with an abdomen injury, contract holdout and work visa issue. However, he was back on the ice on Monday, centring the third line with Antoine Vermette and Chris Wagner on his wing. Rakell, who had 43 points (20G / 23A) in 72 games last year, was also featured on the second power-play.

Rickard Rakell
Gibson is expected to start Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Gibson was a busy guy in October, starting seven games and making one relief appearance—he finished the month at 3-3-2 with a 2.55 GAA and .907 SV%. With Jonathan Bernier not quite ready, look for Gibson to start the first game of the Ducks’ back-to-back vs. Los Angeles.

John Gibson
Smith (lower-body) skated without pads on Tuesday; remains without a timetable for his return.

Smith was on the ice for the first time since suffering a lower-body injury on October 18th. He was on the ice, but only skated without pads. Smith appears to be pretty far away from returning to the Coyotes’ crease, which means the Coyotes will continue with Louis Domingue and Justin Peters as their goaltending duo.
