Budaj allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Kings’ loss in Chicago on Sunday. Budaj won four in a row, but has now lost his last two starts, but finished October with a 1.99 GAA and .916 SV% in six starts and one relief appearance. He appears to be the Kings’ netminder, at least for the immediate future. Tonight he makes for a solid start vs. Anaheim.

Rinne allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Predators’ loss in San Jose on Saturday. Rinne has dropped five consecutive games since winning his season opener. The veteran netminder posted a 3.22 GAA and .906 SV% in the month of October and tonight he takes on an Avalanche team that is 16th in scoring (2.71 G/PG).
Murray missed the first nine games of the season with a broken hand that he suffered in the World Cup of Hockey. Murray comes into 2016-17 expecting to see a large number of starts, but it will all depend on his play. Last year he was incredible, going 9-2-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 SV% in the regular season and 15-6-0 with a 2.08 GAA and .923 SV% in the playoffs. Get him in your lineup.
Andersen allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Maple Leafs’ loss in Montreal on Saturday. October was an ugly month for Andersen, who finished at 2-2-3 with a 3.67 GAA and .876 SV%. Things have been looking up over the last few starts, but his matchup on Tuesday should keep him glued to your fantasy bench. The Edmonton Oilers are 7-2-0 and are averaging 3.22 goals per game (6th in the NHL).
Rask stopped all 24 shots in the Bruins shutout win in Detroit on Saturday. It was a great return for Rask, who missed the last three games with an undisclosed injury. Rask has won each of his first four starts while posting an impressive 1.25 GAA, .958 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he will face a Panthers team that is 4-4-1 while averaging 2.78 goals per game
Bobrovsky stopped all 35 shots that he faced in the Blue Jackets shutout win over the Ducks last Friday. Bobrovsky finished the month of October at 3-3-1 despite posting an impressive 2.02 GAA, .940 SV% and two shutouts. It has been an excellent start for Bob, who will face the Stars for the second time this season—he posted a 32-save shutout in their first meeting.
Niemi allowed four goals on 36 shots in the Stars loss in Winnipeg last Thursday. Kari Lehtonen got the nod on Saturday, but they’ll come back to Niemi tonight in Columbus. Niemi has won two of his first four starts while posting an ugly 3.86 GAA and .893 SV%. The Blue jackets are 3-3-1 while averaging the 19th most goals in the NHL (2.57 G/PG).

Holtby stopped 21 of 22 shots in the Capitals’ win in Calgary on Sunday. The win was Holtby’s third of the season and snapped a brief two-game losing streak. He finished October with a 2.15 GAA and .917 SV%, placing him firmly among the top netminders in fantasy hockey. Tonight he faces a Winnipeg team that is 3-3-0 on home ice this season.
Gibson allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Ducks’ loss to the Blue Jackets last Friday. Gibson was a busy guy in October, starting seven games and making one relief appearance—he finished the month at 3-3-2 with a 2.55 GAA and .907 SV%. He faces a Kings team that has started 4-5-0 while ranking 29th in the NHL in scoring (2.11 G/PG).
Talbot stopped 20 of 21 shots in the Oilers 2-0 shutout loss to the Senators on Sunday. Once again, Talbot was great in the Oilers’ crease, but Craig Anderson was spectacular at the other end. Talbot finished October with seven wins in nine starts while posting a 2.04 GAA and .936 SV%. He has been a No.1 fantasy netminder to start the year, but draws a tough matchup tonight in Toronto.
Domingue allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Coyotes’ loss to Colorado on Sunday. Domingue had a rough month of October, posting a 4.38 GAA and .869 SV% en route to just one win. With Mike Smith out, Domingue is really the Coyotes’ only option, so they’ll roll him back out there tonight vs. San Jose. The Sharks are 6-3-0 while averaging 2.56 goals per game.
Ward allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Hurricanes loss to the Flyers on Sunday. Ward started five games in October, but only recorded one win while posting a 3.64 GAA and .869 SV%. Tonight Ward will face a Senators team that is 5-3-0 and are tied for seventh in the NHL with 3.00 goals per game.
Dubnyk stopped all 29 shots that he faced in the Wild’s shutout win over the Stars on Saturday. Believe it or not, but Dubnyk has recorded three straight shutouts, while stopping all 94 shots that he has faced. Dubnyk has a 1.43 GAA and .952 SV% in seven starts and is a must-start vs. the Sabres on Tuesday.
Elliott allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Flames loss to Washington on Sunday. Elliott had a rough start to his Flames career, but has gone 3-1-0 with a 1.73 GAA and .941 SV% since. Elliott has settled in in Calgary, but draws a fairly tough matchup vs. the Blackhawks. Chicago is 5-3-1 while averaging 3.33 goals per game (5th in the NHL) in 2016-17.
Myers was a late scratch from Sunday’s game and will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury. Mark Stuart will not play either, so Julian Melchiori has been recalled from Manitoba (AHL).
Melchiori, 24, has picked up one goal and three assists in eight games with Manitoba this season. With Tyler Myers and Mark Stuart not available for Tuesday’s game, Melchiori is expected to make his season debut. He has no points in 12 career NHL games.
Stuart left Winnipeg’s game on Sunday with a lower-body injury and did not return. Stuart is listed as day-to-day and will not play on Tuesday. With Stuart and Tyler Myers out, Julian Melchiori has been recalled from Manitoba (AHL).
