Annunen has emerged as the most reliable option in the crease for the Avalanche but has allowed seven goals on 53 shots (.868 SV%) in his last two games (1-1-0) and will need a strong outing on Tuesday against the Seattle Kraken to solidify his position. Johnson will make his Bruins' debut on Tuesday in Toronto.

After a PTO with the Providence Bruins (AHL), the Boston Bruins signed 12-year NHL veteran Tyler Johnson to a one-year, $775,000 contract yesterday. The 33-year-old Johnson spent the last three seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, tallying 70 combined points (32G / 38A) and a -64 plus/minus across 149 games. His best season was in 2014-15 with the Tampa Bay Lightning when he scored 72 points (29G / 43A) in 77 games.
