McCann was forced to leave Saturday’s game in Washington with a lower-body injury and likely will not play on Tuesday. McCann has had a really nice start to 2017-18, posting a two goals and three assists (five points) in seven games. If McCann can’t play, look for Denis Malgin to draw in as the third line centre.

Tonight he faces a Kings team that has yet to lose in regulation and currently rank third in goal-scoring.

Mironov did not have a point in his lone game with the Avalanche this season, but had one goal and one assist in three games with San Antonio (AHL). His recall likely has something to do with Patrik Nemeth’s injury, but Mironov is not expected to play on Tuesday.

Wilson missed Monday’s practice with an undisclosed injury and will not play tomorrow vs. the Stars. Wilson has struggled with his new team, compiling just two assists in eight games to start the season. With Wilson out, look for Gabriel Bourque to make his season debut.

Nemeth suffered a lower-body injury in his return to the Colorado lineup on Thursday. The blueliner was not on the ice for Monday’s practice and will be held out of the lineup on Tuesday. Andrei Mironov was recalled from San Antonio this afternoon, so Nemeth could miss more than one game.

Fleury has been sidelined by a concussion since October 13th and will miss at least two more games this week. With Malcolm Subban suffering an injury of his own this weekend, the Golden Knights turn to the inexperienced duo of Oscar Dansk and Maxime Lagace between the pipes for at least two contests.

Halak allowed three goals on 41 shots in the Islanders’ win in New York last Thursday. Thomas Greiss got the nod on Saturday, but they will come back to Halak tonight vs. the Coyotes. After starting the season at 3-0-0, Varlamov has lost his last two starts while allowing a combined six goals on 69 shots (.913 SV%). It’s been a strong start for the veteran netminder, but he draws a tough matchup with the Stars in town tonight.

Bishop was not happy with Ken Hitchcock’s decision to yank him and will look to be better tonight in Edmonton. It was his worst start to date and comes in at 5-1-0 with a 2.38 GAA and .920 SV% in eight games.

Bishop surrendered three goals on 39 shots in the Stars win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. Bishop has been exactly what the Stars were hoping they got when they signed him this offseason—he has gone 5-1-0 with a 2.09 GAA and .928 SV% in seven starts this season, including a win against the Avalanche, who he will face again tonight—consider him a must-start yet again.
