Schultz left Tuesday’s game vs. Edmonton after being hit by Drake Caggiula and was diagnosed with a concussion postgame. It’s hard to pinpoint how long he will be sidelined with a concussion, but his move to IR means he’ll miss at least tonight’s game. With Schultz on IR, the Penguins have used that roster spot to recall Frank Corrado.

Ho-Sang sat as a healthy scratch for the last two games, but picked up four assists in six games this season. Ho-Sang has been replaced by Jason Chimera on the Islanders third line, so Ho-Sang will go play in Bridgeport instead of sitting in the press box.

Turris has picked up three goals and five assists (eight points) in nine games this season, but it doesn’t look like he will play on Thursday. Look for the Senators to recall someone from Belleville to draw into the lineup.

The 36-year-old comes into play on Thursday at 1-1-3 with a 3.10 GAA and .899 SV% in five starts at the Canadian Tire Centre this season.

It looks like van Riemsdyk avoided serious injury when he went down awkwardly on Monday, but was able to finish the game. He is likely a bit sore, which is why he didn’t practice today, but head coach Mike Babcock said that JVR should play tomorrow vs. Carolina.

Prosser spent the first 282 career NHL games with the Wild and will make his St. Louis debut tonight with Carl Gunnarsson out because his wife gave birth this morning. Prosser will play alongside Colton Parayko but doesn’t have a lot of fantasy intrigue.

Gunnarsson will be kept out of the lineup on Wednesday because he became a father this morning. With Gunnarsson out, Nate Prosser will make his Blues debut.

Brown had just one assist in four games with the Senators and heads back to Windsor, where he had 14 goals and 26 assists (40 points) in 35 games last season. This will be much better for Brown’s development and the move suggests that Colin White (wrist) could be back in the lineup soon.

Patrick left Tuesday’s game after getting knocked head-first into the glass, but was on the ice this morning and won’t miss any time. This is great news because it looked like Patrick could have suffered a concussion.

Greiss allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Islanders win over San Jose last Saturday. Greiss has won his last two starts while turning aside 68 of 72 shots (.944 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he will make his fifth start of the season and it comes vs. a Wild team that is averaging 3.14 goals for per game.

Neuvirth stopped 23 of 24 shots in the Flyers’ 1-0 loss to Nashville last Thursday. Brian Elliott started the last two games, but Neuvirth will start tonight in Ottawa. He has had an excellent start to the season, posting a 1.36 GAA and .957 SV% in three starts so far. He takes on a Senators team that is tied for fourth in the NHL in scoring (3.44 GF/PG).

Allen allowed three goals on 22 shots the Blues’ overtime loss in Vegas on Saturday. After starting the season with a three-game winning streak, Allen has dropped three of his last four starts while posting a 2.96 GAA and. 892 SV%. Tonight he faces a Flames team that is 27th in goals for (2.44 GF/PG).
