Burrows (groin) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Burrows has missed the last six games, but it looks like he will return tonight in warmups. He took part in line rushes in the Canucks top-6 and Willie Desjardins said a couple players will return tonight, but didn’t sat whom. Presumably that will but Burrows, who has 25 points (12G / 13A) in 52 games this season.

Edler (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Edler has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury, but it looks like he will play tonight. According to the Canucks website, he has been activated from IR. He skated with Yannick Weber in the morning skate, so expect that to be the case tonight in Arizona. He has 17 points (5G / 12A) in 55 games this season.

Timonen said he will retire after this season.

Timonen, 39, is in his 16th NHL season and that will be all she wrote for the Finnish blue liner. He has 117 goals and 454 assists (652 points)i in 1093 career games. He is on a very good Blackhawks team, giving him a chance to finish his NHL career with a Cup.

Smith gets the nod vs. the Canucks.

Smith gave up three goals on 34 shots in the Coyotes 4-1 loss to the Ducks on Tuesday. That marks nine straight losses for Smith, who sits 10-31-5 with a 3.34 GAA and .894 SV% on the season. The first time he faced the Canucks, he was pulled after allowing four goals on 11 shots.

Lack starts Thursday in Arizona.

Lack allowed one goal on 24 shots after replacing Jacob Markstrom in the Canucks 6-2 loss to the Sharks on Tuesday. He has won five of his last seven games while posting a 2.53 GAA and .919 SV%. He draws an excellent matchup tonight vs. the Coyotes.

Rask is the Bruins probable starter.

Rask made 31 saves on 32 shots in the Bruins 4-1 win over Arizona on Saturday. The Bruins had four days off in between games, so they should be well rested to take on a Flames team without Mark Giordano. Rask went 3-5-2 with a 2.45 GAA and .916 SV% in February.

Erixon (illness) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Lightning.

Erixon missed the Maple Leafs morning skate and is questionable for tonight’s game. Erixon will be a game-time decision. Erixon had no points in 15:52 TOI in his Maple Leafs debut on Tuesday.

Quick was the first goalie off of the ice for the Kings.

Quick allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Kings 5-2 win over the Oilers on Tuesday. The win snapped a small two-game losing streak for Quick, who will look to record his 27th win of the year tonight vs. Montreal. Quick is 18-6-5 with a 2.08 GAA and .923 SV% at the STAPLES Center this season.

Ellis (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Ellis was in the Predators morning skate, but the Predators will evaluate him this afternoon before making a decision on his status for tonight’s game. Ellis has missed the last three games while the Predators take things slow with his return.

Halak will start Thursday in Nashville.

Halak surrendered three goals on 35 shots in the Islanders 3-2 overtime loss to the Stars on Tuesday. Tonight he will face the Predators in Nashville. He made 30 saves in a 5-2 win vs. the Preds in February—Halak has gone 13-6-1 with a 2.39 GAA and .910 SV% on the road this season.

Seguin (knee) could return within the next week.

Seguin returned to the ice last Saturday and returned to practice this morning, which was a big step in his recovery from that knee injury. He won’t play tonight and likely won’t play on Saturday, but coach Lindy Ruff said he could be back within the week.

Schneider will be between the pipes on Friday.

Schneider turned aside 33 of 34 shots in the Devils 3-1 win over the Predators on Tuesday. He has stopped 66 of 67 shots (.985 SV%) to earn back-to-back wins. Tonight he will take on a Blue Jackets team he is 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .970 SV% against this season.

Rinne starts Thursday vs. the Islanders.

Rinne allowed three goals on 39 shots in the Predators 4-1 loss to the Rangers on Monday. He was given Tuesday night off, but will be back in goal tonight vs. the Islanders—Rinne has lost five of his last six games, while posting a 3.20 GAA and .898 SV%.

Lehtonen stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Stars win over the Islanders on Tuesday. It was a big win for Lehtonen, who had allowed a combing 14 goals in his previous three games. Tonight he will look to repeat what he did the first time he faced the Panthers—in February he posted a 37 save shutout in a 2-0 win.
