Timonen (blood clots) is expected to make his season and Blackhawks debut on Monday.

Timonen has not played all season, but that did not deter the Blackhawks from adding him to their roster on Friday. Timonen is expected to play with Keith Seabrook at even strength and practiced on their top power-play unit on Sunday.

Kimmo Timonen
Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick made 27 saves on 28 shots in the Kings 1-0 loss to the Senators on Thursday. He was given Friday night off, but he will be back in goal in Winnipeg this afternoon. Quick went 8-3-0 with a 1.92 GAA and .928 SV% in February, so he will look to get March off to a hot start today.

Jonathan Quick
Hutchinson starts Sunday against the Kings.

Hutchinson allowed one goal on 29 shots, but it was not enough to seal the victory on Thursday vs. St. Louis. He went 4-1-3 with a 2.68 GAA and .898 SV% in February. This afternoon he will take on a Kings team he has struggled against—Hutchinson is 1-1-0 with a 4.82 GAA and .833 SV% vs. L.A.

Michael Hutchinson
McElhinney starts Sunday vs. the Penguins, not Bobrovsky.

McElhinney stopped 17 of 18 shots in the Blue Jackets 2-0 loss to the Devils last night. Sergei Bobrovsky still is not quite ready to start tonight, so McElhinney will go on back-to-back nights. He won his first start against Pittsburgh and has gone 2-1-1 with a 2.42 GAA and .927 SV% on no rest this season.

Curtis McElhinney
Allen starts vs. Vancouver on Sunday.

Allen allowed five goals on 23 shots in the Blues loss to the Canadiens on Tuesday. It was a difficult outing for Allen, who finished February at 3-1-0 with a 2.05 GAA and .918 SV%. He will face Vancouver for the second time this season—he allowed three goals on 22 shots in a 4-1 loss back in October.

Jake Allen
Lack will start Sunday vs. the Blues.

Lack gave up five goals on 23 shots in the Canucks loss in Buffalo on Thursday. Vancouver had Friday and Saturday off, so it will be Lack again tonight vs. the Blues. He has gone 3-4-1 with a 2.25 GAA and .913 SV% at Rogers Arena this season.

Eddie Lack
The Flames have traded Curtis Glencross to the Capitals for a 2nd and a 3rd round pick.

Glencross is a pending unrestricted free agent this summer, so the Flames have moved him out for some assets. Glencross is a speedy two-way forward who will help the Capitals top-9. Glencross has nine goals and 19 assists (28 points) in 53 games with Calgary this season.

Lack was the first goalie off of the ice for the Canucks.

Gibson will start Sunday in Dallas.

Gibson allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Ducks 4-2 win over the Kings on Friday. Frederik Andersen is ready to go, but the Ducks will stick with the hot-hand tonight in Dallas. He has went 4-1-0 with a 2.18 GAA and .926 SV% in his last five starts, but faces a difficult Dallas offence tonight.

John Gibson
The Jets have activated Blake Wheeler (lower-body) from IR; will play Sunday.

Wheeler has missed the last two games, but was expected to be back today. He was activated from IR and Carl Klingberg was returned to the AHL, which guarantees that Wheeler will be back Sunday vs. the Kings. He will surprisingly skate on the Jets third line with Adam Lowry and Chris Thorburn.

The Maple Leafs have claimed Tim Erixon off of waivers from Chicago.

Erixon, 24, was a first round pick (23rd overall) back in 2009. He has never received a full chance to prove what he can do at the NHL level. He has one goal and five assists in 27 games with the Blue Jackets and Blackhawks this season. He will report to the Maple Leafs, not the Marlies.

Tim Erixon
The Flames have claimed David Schlemko off of waivers from Dallas.

Schlemko, 27, heads to his third team of the season after being claimed by Calgary. He has on goal and four assists in 25 games with the Coyotes and Stars so far this season. He will join his former Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL) teammate Kris Russell with the Flames.

David Schlemko
Enroth was the first goalie off of the ice for the Stars.

Enroth allowed three goals on 24 shots in Tuesday’s loss in Winnipeg. Enroth is 0-3-0 with a 3.74 GAA and .867 SV% since joining Dallas. It is March and Kari Lehtonen has virtually every win for the Stars, they need Enroth to step up tonight in a big game versus the Ducks.

The Coyotes have reassigned Dylan Reese to Portland (AHL).

Reese was a minus-1 with three shots in the only game he played during his recall. He served as a healthy scratch in the last two games, so it is not surprising to see him go back to the minors.
