Benn decided to drop the mitts with 6-foot-7, 265 lbs. defenseman Nikita Tryamkin and was hurt in the tilt. Probably not the best idea to take on a monster and it forced Benn to miss the third period. With the Stars on a back-to-back, Benn is questionable for Friday’s game.

Raanta has gone 2-2-0 with a 1.99 GAA, .926 SV% and one shutout in his last four starts and tonight he’ll make his fourth consecutive start. Raanta has gone 4-5-0 with a 2.57 GAA and .900 SV% on home-ice this season.

Quick allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Kings loss to the Blues on Monday. Ben Bishop started on Tuesday, but look of Quick tonight vs. the Sabres. Quick has been victorious in four of his six starts while posting a 2.29 GAA and .916 SV% since returning to the Kings’ crease.

Lehtonen allowed two goals on nine shots in the Stars’ blowout loss in Edmonton on Tuesday. Lehtonen has gone 2-2-0 with a 3.38 GAA and .909 SV% in March and tonight he faces the Canucks for the second time this season. The 33-year-old allowed five goals on 30 shots in a 5-4 OT loss in the first meeting.







Reimer allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Panthers’ 7-2 blowout win over the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. It was a big win for Reimer over his former team and with Roberto Luongo still out, Reimer is expected to start tonight in Columbus. Reimer made 30 saves in a 4-3 win vs. the Blue Jackets in January.

Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win in Philadelphia on Monday. The Blue Jackets did not hold a morning skate on Thursday, but Bob is expected to start tonight vs. the Panthers. He is on a five-game winning streak, having posted a 1.20 GAA and .960 SV% in the process.

Rinne allowed four goals on 34 shots in the Predators’ OT win over the Jets on Monday. It was a big win for Rinne, who will go tonight in Washington. The veteran has given up his fair-share of goals lately. Rinne is an ugly 9-11-4 with a 2.74 GAA and .914 SV% on the road this season.




Darling allowed one goal on 37 shots in the Blackhawks’ win over the Penguins on March 1st. He missed time with a hand injury, but will return to the crease tonight in Ottawa. Darling is on a personal four-game winning streak with a 1.26 GAA and .960 SV%.
