Folin, 24, has six points (1G / 5A) in 29 games with Minnesota. While in Iowa, he has registered four points (2G / 2A) in 12 games. He has been recalled because he is a right-handed shot, who will replace Jared Spurgeon tonight in Edmonton.
Spurgeon was hit in the face with a shot on Wednesday and he will miss tonight’s game as he is being evaluated for a concussion. Spurgeon is a native of Edmonton, so you know he wanted to be in this game tonight. He will be replaced by Christian Folin.
Dubnyk allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Wild’s win in Calgary on Wednesday. Things continue to go well for Dubnyk in Minnesota—he sits 11-2-1 with a 1.73 GAA and .936 SV% in 15 starts with the Wild. Tonight he will face his former team for the fifth time this season—he is 4-0-0 with a 0.98 GAA and .966 SV% in the first four meetings.
Lehtera was briefly demoted to the third line on Tuesday, but returned to the second line halfway through the contest. This morning he once again skated with Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz, so look for him to skate in the top-6 tonight vs. the Bruins.
van Riemsdyk, who has been sidelined with a left patella fracture since November 16th, had been limited to skating on his own, but joined his teammates for the first time this morning. The 23-year-old is just over three months into a 3-4 month timetable, so it appears as if he is progressing well.
Neil will be out for at least one month, which really limits the chances that he gets traded at the trade deadline. With Neil out, the Senators are getting a chance to look at young prospects like Shane Prince and Matt Puempel.
MacArthur and Robin Lehner both suffered concussions in their collision on Monday night. MacArthur was moved to IR on Thursday and is out indefinitely.
Lehner suffered the concussion in a collision with his teammate Clarke MacArthur on Monday. MacArthur was also diagnosed with a concussion on Friday. Lehner was moved to IR on Thursday and there is no timetable for his return.
Ward allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Hurricanes win in Ottawa on Monday. Ward has won three of his last four games with a 2.47 GAA and .905 SV%. He has a great matchup against a Maple Leafs team who have lost 14 of their 15 games. He made 25 saves in a 4-1 win in their first meeting.
Puempel, 22, was a first round pick (24th overall) in 2011. He has 12 goals and 20 assists (32 points) in 51 games with Binghamton this season. He is expected to make his NHL debut on Saturday vs. the Panthers. Puempel skated with David Legwand and Alex Chiasson in Sens practice on Friday.

Grabovski appeared to suffer an apparent head injury on a hit early in last night’s win over the Predators. He stayed down after a heavy hit and the immediate speculation is that Grabo suffered a concussion, but the exact nature of the injury has not been released by the team.
Wolf averaged 7:32 TOI and had no points in the only two games he appeared in during his recall. Sending Wolf down created some room for the Flames to recall Markus Granlund.
Granlund, 21, has five goals and eight assists (13 points) in 33 games with the Flames this season. While in Adirondack he has recorded 12 points (6G / 6A) in 14 games. He is expected to be back in the lineup on Friday vs. the Ducks.
Ferlin, 22, has scored nine goals with seven assists (16 points) in 46 games in his first season in Providence. There is no word on if he will make his NHL debut on Friday in St. Louis.
Sanguinetti, 26, has 13 goals and 15 assists (28 points) in 42 games with the Comets this season. He was recalled prior to Thursday’s game, but did not get into the lineup. He is unlikely to play unless another Canucks blue liner goes down.
MacWilliam, 24, has been recalled as insurance for Friday’s game in Carolina. One of the Maple Leafs defenseman is in question for their matchup vs. the Hurricanes, thus MacWilliam gets the recall and could make his NHL debut. He has four points (1G / 3A) and 34 PIMS in 45 games with the Marlies.
Hiller allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Flames loss to the Wild on Wednesday. Hiller has gone 4-2-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .916 SV% this month. Tonight will be another big game for him with his former team in town—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.78 GAA and .901 SV% against the Ducks this season.
Crawford allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Blackhawks 3-2 shootout loss to the Red Wings on Wednesday. Crawford sits at 4-1-2 with a 2.09 GAA and .931 SV% in seven starts this month. He has played well and so has the team in front of him. On Friday he takes on an Avalanche team he is 2-1-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .923 SV% against this season.
