Little (lower-body) says he is ready to return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Little has been out since the season opener, missing the last 23 games with a lower-body injury. On Monday, Little skated on a line with with Blake Wheeler and Drew Stafford and is also expected to skate on the second power-play unit. Monitor Little’s status during the Jets’ morning skate on Tuesday.

Bryan Little
Darling (illness) missed Monday’s practice; expected to backup on Tuesday.

Darling was kept off of the ice on Monday because of an illness, but head coach Joel Quenneville said he expects Darling to be available to backup Corey Crawford.

Scott Darling
Toews (upper-body) did not practice on Monday; questionable to play on Tuesday.

Toews has missed the last two games and it appears as if he is in danger of missing No.3 tomorrow vs. Florida. If Toews can get on the ice for the pre-game skate, he could return, so monitor his status on Tuesday morning.

Jonathan Toews
Crawford will start Tuesday vs. the Panthers.

Crawford allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Blackhawks’ win in Anaheim last Friday. Scott Darling started on Saturday, so they’ll go back to Crawford tonight vs. the Panthers. Crawford has gone 5-1-2 with a 1.87 GAA and .939 SV% on home ice this season and he’ll take on a Florida team that has lost two of three and just fired their coach on Sunday.

Corey Crawford
Pickard will start Tuesday vs. the Predators.

Pickard allowed two goals on 31 shots in Colorado’s loss to the Canucks on Saturday. Despite the loss, it was a strong outing for Pickard, so he will start his second straight game tonight vs. Nashville. Pickard has made three starts on home-ice this season, going 1-1-1 with a 1.96 GAA and .932 SV% at the Pepsi Center.

Calvin Pickard
Hamhuis will be a healthy scratch on Monday.

Hamhuis has picked up just five assists in 21 games in his first season with the Stars. He has been held pointless in his last six games and played a season-low 16:03 TOI on Friday. He will serve as a healthy scratch for the second time this season, which means Patrik Nemeth will draw back into the lineup.

The Canucks have recalled Alex Biega from Utica (AHL).

Biega has appeared in one NHL and one AHL game this season, failing to record a point in each. Biega has picked up just eight points (1G / 7A) in 59 career NHL games. With Alex Edler out for at least one month, Biega is expected to draw into the lineup on Tuesday.

Alex Biega
Miller (knee) missed Monday’s practice; questionable for Tuesday’s game.

Miller had to get stitches on his knee after being hit by a Mats Zuccerello shot on Sunday. Rangers’ head coach Alain Vigneault said it is a 50/50 chance that Miller will be in the lineup on Tuesday. If he can’t play, Oscar Lindberg will get back into the lineup.

J.T. Miller
Lundqvist will start Tuesday vs. the Hurricanes.

Lundqvist allowed two goals on 42 shots in the Rangers’ win in Philadelphia last Friday. Antti Raanta started on Sunday, so they’ll go back to Lundqvist vs. Carolina. King Henrik has gone 6-3-1 with a 2.53 GAA and .909 SV% on home-ice this season and allowed three goals on 21 shots in a 3-2 loss in his first start vs. the Hurricanes.

Henrik Lundqvist
Mark Jankowski will make his NHL debut on Monday.

Jankowski was the 21st overall pick in 2012 and will play in his first career NHL game tonight in Brooklyn. Jankowski picked up 12 points (3G / 9A) in 13 games with Stockton (AHL) this season. The Canadian-born centre will draw in, but the Flames did not announce who will come out. The obvious choice would be Freddie Hamilton, but there are some rumblings that it could be Sean Monahan, who has struggled as of late.

Mark Jankowski
Eichel (ankle) was a full participant in Monday’s practice; could make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Eichel has not played in a game this season because of a preseason ankle injury, but he skated on the second line and on the top power-play at Monday’s practice. Head coach Dan Bylsma said it is possible for Eichel to make his debut tomorrow, so monitor his status during the morning skate.

Jack Eichel
Niemi was the first goalie off of the ice.

Niemi stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Stars’ win over the Canucks on Friday. Niemi has won his last two games, while turning aside 57 of 60 shots (.950 SV%). It has been a nice stretch in an otherwise ugly two months for Niemi, who comes into Monday with a 5.55 GAA and .846 SV% on the road. In his first start vs. the Blues, Niemi allowed two goals on 30 shots in a 6-2 win.

Antti Niemi
The Penguins have recalled Derrick Pouliot from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Pouliot failed to pick up a point during his three-game conditioning stint with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Pouliot returns to Pittsburgh, where he has no points in one game this season, but has picked up 14 points (2G / 12A) across 57 career NHL games.
