Andersen gave up two goals on 26 shots in the Maple Leafs loss in Minnesota last Thursday. Curtis McElhinney spelled him in Detroit on Friday, so Andersen will likely start this afternoon vs. the Hurricanes. Andersen is 2-3-0 with a 2.22 GAA and .937 SV% in his last five starts and is 1-1-0 with a 5.00 GAA and .882 SV% in two starts vs. Carolina this season.

Rinne stopped all 32 shots that he faced in the Predators shutout win in Calgary on Saturday. Rinne has been excellent this season and comes in having won four of his last five starts while allowing just nine goals on 172 shots (.948 SV%). The Canucks got great news on Monday after a CT scan revealed no structural damage on Boeser’s foot. Boeser is dealing with a bone bruise and is “more day-to-day than week-to-week” according GM Jim Benning. Boeser suffered the injury while blocking a Mark Giordano shot on Sunday and is not expected to play Tuesday vs. the Canadiens.

Seidenberg has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but tonight he will replace Calvin de Haan (upper-body) in the lineup tonight vs. the Red Wings. Seidenberg has just three assists in 12 games this season.

Motte, 22, has three goals and one assist in 19 games with the Blue Jackets this season. He returns to Cleveland where he has seven points (5G / 2A) in seven AHL contests.

Quick gave up three goals on 27 shots in the Kings loss in New York last Friday. Darcy Kuemper gave him the day off on Saturday so the Kings will look to end a three-game losing skid with Quick between the pipes tonight. In his first start against the Flyers, the 31-year-old stopped all 35 shots that he faced in a 2-0 shutout win.

Miller stopped all 29 shots that he faced in the Ducks shutout win over the Senators on December 6th. John Gibson has started the last four games but it looks like Miller will start the front-end of the Monday/Tuesday back-to-back. The 37-year-old has gone 1-0-3 with a 2.04 GAA and .939 SV% on the road this season.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Blue Jackets loss in Carolina on Saturday. Bobrovsky has lost four of his last seven starts while posting a 3.33 GAA and .886 SV%. In his first start of the season against the Bruins, Goalie Bob allowed three goals on 30 shots in a 4-3 shootout win.

Talbot allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Oilers win in Minnesota on Saturday. It was an excellent return to the crease for the Oilers’ workhorse, who will be leaned on heavily as they try to battle back into the playoff picture. Dating back to before he was hurt, Talbot has won four straight while allowing two goals in every game and posting a .927 SV%.
