Quick was the first goalie off of the ice for the Kings.

Quick surrendered four goals on 27 shots in the Kings 4-0 loss to the Capitals on Tuesday. Quick has just one win in his last 10 starts and he has posted an ugly 3.71 GAA and .875 SV% over that span. He will go head-to-head with Roberto Luongo, who is also struggling right now.

Vasilevskiy will be in goal against Dallas.

Vasilevskiy went 3-1-0 with a 1.76 GAA and .937 SV% in four games during his recall in late December. He impressed in that short stint, which forced the Lightning to put the struggling Evgeni Nabokov on waivers. Vasilevskiy will get his first NHL start since December 31st, but has a tough matchup with the NHL’s second highest scoring team on the schedule.

Allen will be between the pipes in Buffalo.

Allen allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Blues 3-2 shootout win over the Hurricanes last Friday. Allen has won three consecutive games with a 1.70 GAA and .921 SV%. He has a great chance to extend that streak to four as he gets set to take on the lowly Sabres in Buffalo. He makes for an excellent spot-start.

Schneider gets the call on Friday vs. Toronto.

Schneider allowed one goal on 20 shots in the Devils 2-1 win over the Senators on Tuesday. Schneider has gone 6-2-1 with a 1.78 GAA and .941 SV% in nine starts in 2015. He has been much better in the last month and draws a beauty matchup tonight. Schneider has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.93 GAA and .935 SV% vs. the Maple Leafs this season.

McElhinney starts for the Blue Jackets on Friday.

McElhinney gave up three goals on 34 shots in the Blue Jackets loss in Tampa Bay last Saturday. He was given Tuesday night off, but will be back between the pipes tonight vs. St. Louis. In his last five games, McElhinney is 2-2-0 with a 2.48 GAA and .924 SV%. While he has been strong, the Blues present a huge challenge for McElhinney and the Blue Jackets.

Holtby starts Thursday in Ottawa.

Holtby stopped all 27 shots that he faced in the Capitals 4-0 shutout win over the Kings on Tuesday. Holtby has been great in the Capitals crease this season—he ranks seventh in the NHL in wins (24), fifth in GAA (2.17) and SV% (.925) and second in shutouts (6). Holtby has gone 194:40 without giving up a regulation goal.

Ward was the first goalie off of the ice for the Hurricanes.

Ward gave up four goals on 37 shots in the Hurricanes 4-1 loss to the Rangers last Saturday. He has not registered a win since January 8th, going 0-2-2 with a 2.91 GAA And .904 SV% over that stretch. He has a great matchup tonight against a Coyotes team he posted a 25-save shutout against in November.

Crawford will start in goal on Friday.

Crawford surrendered three goals on 43 shots in the Blackhawks 3-0 shutout loss to the Wild on Tuesday. He was under siege all night and was out duelled by Devan Dubnyk. Crawford has gone 2-4-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .907 SV% in his last six outings. He enters Winnipeg at 11-6-1 with a 2.10 GAA and .928 SV% on the road.

Halak will be in goal for the Islanders on Thursday.

Halak allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Islanders 4-2 loss to the Panthers on Tuesday. That is back-to-back losses for Halak, who has allowed a combined seven goals on 61 shots (.885 SV%) in those two contests. Tonight he will make his third start of the season vs. the Flyers—he is 2-0-0 with a 1.92 GAA and .920 SV% in the first two meetings.

Lehtonen was the first goalie off of the ice for the Stars.

Lehtonen allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Stars 2-1 shootout loss to the Avalanche on Tuesday. The loss snapped a modest two-game winning streak for Lehtonen, who has a terrible matchup tonight with the high-scoring Lightning in town. Lehtonen is 10-6-6 with a 2.90 GAA and .902 SV% at home.

Enroth will start against St. Louis.

Enroth allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Sabres win in Montreal on Tuesday. The win snapped a 14-game losing streak for the Sabres and was Enroth’s first W since December 27th. Making him your fantasy starter tonight would be a terrifying idea with the Blues in town.

Desharnais was moved to the top-line on Thursday.

Desharnais has registered a goal and two assists in his last two games, which were both Canadiens losses. He swapped places with Tomas Plekanec in practice on Thursday and is expected to skate in between Max Pacioretty and Dale Weise on Saturday.

Luongo will start vs. the Kings.

Luongo gave up five goals on 37 shots in the Panthers 6-3 loss to the Rangers on Monday. He was given Tuesday off, but will climb back between the iron vs. the reigning Cup champs tonight. Bobby Lu is 1-6-1 with a 3.58 GAA and .878 SV% over his last nine outings.

Mitchell is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Mitchell must have suffered the injury on Tuesday vs. the Islanders. He will miss out on the chance to play against his former team with the Kings in town tonight. With Mitchell out, Steven Kampfer has been recalled and will be in the lineup tonight.

The Stars have recalled Brett Ritchie from Texas (AHL).

Ritchie, 21, who has 18 points (11G / 7A) in 23 games with Texas, has registered three goals and one assist in eight games with the Stars this season. Before being sent down three days ago, Ritchie was on IR with an undisclosed injury. Expect him back in the lineup tonight vs. Tampa Bay.
