Dubnyk allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Wild’s win in St. Louis on Tuesday. Dubnyk has won three of his last four outings while posting a 3.05 GAA and .901 SV%. The 31-year-old is an impressive 13-2-3 with a 2.13 GAA and .930 SV% on home ice this season and is a must-start with the 12-32-9 Coyotes in town.

Demers has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, but is ready to go in Minnesota. Demers has had a solid season, posting numbers similar to what he had with the Stars and Panthers. The 29-year-old is also playing a career-high 21:46 TOI/GM in his first year with the Coyotes.

McCabe was hurt against Anaheim and did not return on Tuesday and will miss at least three games after undergoing thumb surgery this week. There’s no word how McCabe suffered the injury, but he recorded three blocked shots on Tuesday, so you have to think one of those shots did the damage.


Elliott allowed one goal on 28 shots in the Flyers’ overtime win in Carolina on Tuesday. IT was a nice return to the crease for Elliott, who has won three in a row while posting a 1.29 GAA and .948 SV%. He draws a great matchup tonight with the Canadiens in town—he is 9-5-3 with a 2.92 GAA and .896 SV% on home ice this season.

Lehner allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Sabres loss to the Ducks on Tuesday. Lehner has now lost three straight while allowing seven goals on 93 shots (.925 SV%). Lehner has had a tough campaign and has gone 0-1-1 with a 4.78 GAA and .860 SV% in his first two starts against the Islanders this season.



Lundqvist allowed two goals on 41 shots in the Rangers loss in Dallas on Monday. Lundqvist has gone 0-6-0 with a 3.94 GAA and .882 SV% in his last six starts and things won’t get any easier with the Bruins in town tonight. As hot as Boston has been, they’re on the tail-end of a back-to-back and Lundqvist is 2-0-0 with a 1.97 GAA and. 941 SV% in two starts vs. the Bruins this year.



Kuemper stopped all 27 shots that he faced in the Kings shutout win over the Coyotes on Saturday. Kuemper has played very well as of late, winning each of his last three games while stopping 85 go 86 shots (.988 SV%). The 27-year-old enters play at 4-1-1 with a 1.99 GAA and .933 SV% in six starts at the STAPLES Center this season.

Talbot allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Oilers win over the Lightning on Monday. Don’t look now, but Talbot has won four of his last five while stopped 143 of 156 shots (.917 SV%) and the Oilers are attempting to get back in the playoff race. Despite the wins, they will be in tough tonight in Los Angeles, where they haven’t won in their last 11 attempts.

Fiala’s starts for Wednesday’s game in Toronto is in question after he missed the morning skate. Fiala has registered two goals in each of his last two games but he might not be available tonight. Predators head coach Peter Laviolette said there “nothing to report” regarding Fiala’s status, so consider him a game-time decision.

Gagner returned to the Canucks lineup last night but sprained his ankle and is day-to-day. He will return to Vancouver to be re-evaluated, making him doubtful for Thursday, Friday and likely Sunday.

Rinne allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Predators overtime win in Brooklyn on Monday. After a sluggish start to the game, Rinne and the Predators dialled in and worked their way to an eighth straight win for Rinne. Over that stretch, Rinne has posted a 1.85 GAA, .932 SV% and two shutouts.

Rantanen was a game-time decision and didn’t end up playing last night vs. the Sharks. However the injury doesn’t appear to be serious, so Rantanen is expected to take part in the morning skate and they will make a decision on his status after that.

Varlamov allowed three goals on 11 shots after replacing Jonathan Bernier in Colorado’s blowout loss in St. Louis on Thursday. Varlamov has now given up five goals on 42 shots (.881 SV%) since returning from a groin injury last Saturday. In his first start vs. Carolina in 2017-18, Varlamov made a ridiculous 57 saves on 60 shots in a 5-3 win in early-November.

Bernier allowed one goal on 39 shots in Colorado’s win over the Sharks on Tuesday. Bernier had a three-game losing streak at the end of January but has since won two in a row while stopping 67 of 71 shots (.944 SV%). The 29-year-old has gone 0-2-0 with a 3.59 GAA and .887 SV% in two starts against the Blues this season.
