The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Scrivens, who now sits 3-3-1 wit ha 2.57 GAA and .898 SV% in January. He will meet the Flames for the third time this season—Scrivens is 0-1-1 with a 3.52 GAA and .867 SV% in the first two.

Niemi allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Sharks win over the Ducks on Thursday. He has won four of his last five starts while posting a 2.40 GAA and .910 SV%. Niemi will see the Blackhawks for the second time this season—in their first meeting he allowed four goals on 36 shots in a 5-2 loss.

The Coyotes have assigned Mike McKenna to Portland (AHL).

McKenna, 31, is 16-13-2 with a 2.09 GAA and a .934 SV% in 32 games with the Pirates. McKenna was originally drafted by the Nashville Predators in the sixth round (172nd overall) in the 2002 Entry Draft.

The Coyotes have recalled Louis Domingue from Portland (AHL).

Domingue, 22, has registered an 8-4-1 record with a 2.40 GAA and a .922 SV% in 13 games with the Pirates this season. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound net minder has also collected a 1-1-0 record with a 1.01 GAA and a .958 SV% in two games with the Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL). Domingue was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the fifth round (138th overall) in the 2010 Entry Draft.

Lehtonen was the first off of the ice for the Stars.

Lehtonen allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Stars win in Ottawa on Thursday. Despite allowing 16 goals on 154 shots (.896 SV%) in his last five games, he has won three of those match ups. He gets the nod in Winnipeg—Lehtonen is 10-5-2 with a 3.03 GAA and .905 SV% on the road.

Brian Lashoff has cleared waivers and been sent to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Lashoff has two assists and a plus-4 rating in 11 games with the Red Wings this season. His demotion opens up a roster spot for either Alexey Marcheko or Xavier Ouellet to stay with the big-club full time.

Halischuk has been placed on IR with an undisclosed injury.

Halischuk must have suffered the injury on Thursday night in Philadelphia. His movement to IR means he will miss at least seven days, so the injury must be relatively serious. With Halischuk out, T.J Galiardi will be in the lineup on Saturday.
