Hutton leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Hutton allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Predators win over the Capitals last night. Despite the heavy workload last night, they will turn to Mrazek again tonight in Detroit. Last night was his first win of the season and moved him to 1-3-2 with a 2.67 GAA and .907 SV% on the season.

Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

Rask stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Bruins 3-0 win over the Rangers on Thursday. That marks four straight victories for Rask, while posting a 1.49 GAA and .928 SV%. He draws a great matchup tonight vs. a Blue Jackets team playing their second game in as many nights and without Sergei Bobrovsky.

Carcillo has been offered an in-person hearing for his cross-check on Mathieu Perreault on Friday.

The play injured Perreault and the in-person hearing, means that Carcillo, a repeat offender, is looking at a suspension of five-plus games. His potential suspension will mean that Joakim Nordstrom will get back into the lineup.

The Kings have recalled J.F. Berube from Manchester (AHL).

Martin Jones is battling an injury, so the Kings have recalled Berube to be Jonathan Quick’s backup. However, there is no word whether he will make it for tonight’s game. The 23-year-old is 19-4-3 with a 2.05 GAA and .920 SV% with Manchester this season.

Halak will start again tonight.

Halak gave up three goals on 24 shots in the Islanders win over the Penguins last night. Halak has won three consecutive games while posting a 1.64 GAA and .932 SV%. He will make his first start of the year against the Canadiens—he is 11-5-0 with a 2.18 GAA and .920 SV% on the road.

McElhinney will start in goal for Columbus.

McElhinney allowed three goals on 29 shots in a 4-3 win over the Avalanche on January 4th. Sergei Bobrovsky starts the last five games, but it will be McElhinney tonight on the second game of their back-to-back. He made 26 saves in a 6-2 win over the Bruins on December 27th.

Glencross (lower-body) is not expected to play on Saturday.

Glencross suffered a lower-body injury against the Coyotes on Thursday. On Friday coach Bob Hartley listed him as doubtful and he did not take part in the morning skate, so do not expect to see Glencross tonight in San Jose. With Glencross out, Lance Bouma skated in the Flames top-6 this morning.

Quick will be back in goal for L.A.

Quick replaced Martin Jones on Wednesday, but allowed two goals on seven shots and Jones returned to the crease for the third period. It was a rough night for both Kings’ net minders, but they will go with Quick tonight vs. the Ducks. He is 1-0-1 with a 3.30 GAA and .910 SV% vs. Anaheim this season.

Andersen will start Saturday for the Ducks.

Andersen stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Ducks 4-0 win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. He was given last night off, but will start tonight in Los Angeles. Andersen has won four straight while posting a 2.41 GAA and .924 SV%. In two games against the Kings, he has allowed six goals on 47 shots (.872 SV%).

Niemi is the Sharks' confirmed starter.

Niemi made 24 saves on 25 shots in the Sharks win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. He has stopped 51 of 54 shots (.944 SV%) in back-to-back wins and will go for three straight tonight vs. the Flames. Niemi is 1-1-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .943 SV% against Calgary this season.

Lundqvist will start vs. Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Lundqvist stopped 35 of 36 shots in the Rangers win over the Blue Jackets on Friday night. He has been great in the 2015 calendar year, going 4-1-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .953 SV% so far. This afternoon he will take on a Penguins team he has already gone 2-0-1 with a 1.59 GAA and .953 SV% against this season.
