Bernier will start for the Maple Leafs.

Bernier allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Maple Leafs 3-0 loss to the Blues on Saturday. He has lost three in a row and the team has not scored a single goal in front of him in those three contests. He sits at 1-5-0 with a 2.88 GAA and .887 SV% in January. He allowed three goals on 36 shots in a 4-1 loss in his first start vs. Carolina.

The Blue Jackets sent Sean Collins back to Springfield (AHL) on Sunday.

Collins, who was most recently recalled on December 30, has collected two assists with two penalty minutes in eight games with Columbus this season.  He has also recorded 19 points (10G / 9A) and 14 penalty minutes with an even plus/minus rating in 28 games with Springfield.

Stalock is the Sharks probable starter on Monday.

Stalock allowed two goals on seven shots after replacing Antti Niemi on January 8th. Niemi has started the last five games, but it look like it will be Stalock tonight vs. the Devils. He is 5-4-1 with a 2.43 GAA and .912 SV% on the year. He draws a strong matchup with the Devils in town.

Schneider (head) is set to start on Monday.

Schneider made 14 saves on 15 shots before leaving Friday’s game in Anaheim. Schneider passed the concussion protocol tests and is ready to start tonight in San Jose. He comes in at 3-1-0 with a 2.09 GAA and .927 SV% in January. He allowed three goals on 31 shots in a loss in his first start vs. the Sharks.

Miller is likely to start on Monday in Florida.

Miller stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Canucks’ 3-0 shutout win over the Hurricanes on Friday. Miller stopped all 58 shots fired his way on the Canucks Thursday and Friday back-to-back, recording his fourth and fifth shutout of the year. Tonight, he will look to continue his shutout streak in Florida.

Ortio will make his fourth straight start on Monday.

Ortio stopped 19 of 22 shots in the Flames 4-3 OT win over the Sharks. He joined the Flames in the middle of a West Coast road-trip and has gone 3-0-0 with a 1.33 GAA and .953 SV%. He will look to continue his winning ways tonight, but has another tough matchup in Los Angeles.

Enroth will start for the Sabres on Sunday night.

Enroth allowed seven goals on 37 shots in the Sabres 7-2 loss to the Wild on Thursday. Enroth has lost six in a row and has not won a game since December 27th. He has not faced the Red Wings yet this season, but has gone 3-8-1 with a 3.71 GAA and .897 SV%.

Lehtonen leads the Stars onto the ice for warmups.

Lehtonen allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Stars 5-4 win over the Capitals last night. He will start on zero days rest for the fourth time this season; he is 0-2-1 with a 4.98 GAA and .870 SV% SV% in the previous three. He will start vs. the Hawks, who he is 0-1-2 with a 4.19 GAA and .883 SV% vs. Chicago this season.

The Rangers and defenseman Marc Staal have agreed to terms on a six-year contract extension.

Terms were not disclosed, but ESPN.com reported a six-year extension with average annual value of $5.7 million, a full no-trade clause in the first three years and a full-no movement clause. Staal, who would have been an unrestricted free agent on July 1, has two goals and six assists in 42 games this season. The No. 12 pick in the 2005 NHL Draft has 29 goals and 119 points in 503 regular-season games.

Smith will start back-to-back for Arizona.

Smith allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Coyotes loss to the Wild last night. He was out dulled by his former crease-mate Devan Dubnyk. Smith has gone 2-4-0 with a 3.34 GAA and .894 SV% in six starts in January. Tonight he will take on a Jets team that is rolling right now.

Pavelec will start in goal for the Jets.

Pavelec made 46 saves on 47 shots in the Jets win over the Stars on Thursday. It was Pavelec’s best performance of the year and snapped a four-game losing streak. Tonight he will face an Arizona team who has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.02 GAA and .897 SV% against this season.
