Cizikas suffered an upper-body injury in Detroit on Tuesday and is expected to miss one month. With him out for four weeks, Cizikas’ move to IR was simply a formality to open a roster spot.

Bishop allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Oilers on Tuesday. Bishop has been excellent as of late—he comes into Thursday on a five-game winning streak having allowed just six goals on 127 shots (.953 SV%) with one shutout. He allowed three goals on 22 shots in a 6-3 win in his first start vs. Calgary.

Greiss allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Islanders’ win in Detroit on Tuesday. The win moved Greiss to 4-4-0 with a 3.31 GAA and .884 SV% in February. Tonight he will take on the Canadiens for the third time this season. He has played well in the first two meetings, going 1-1-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .922 SV%.

Drouin has been battling the flu for a few weeks, but hasn’t missed any games. He was absent for Wednesday’s practice and is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game. It’s unclear whether it is the illness or something else that is bothering Drouin, but monitor his status during warmups at 7:00p.m. ET.

Daley suffered a knee injury on Tuesday and underwent surgery that will keep him sidelined until about April 6th, which would leave just three games left in the regular season. Luckily for the Penguins, Daley should be back for the playoffs.

Hainsey is a mobile, veteran defenseman, who has scored four goals with 10 assists (14 points) in 56 games this season. He could make his Penguins debut in the outdoor game on Saturday. The injuries to Trevor Daley, Olli Maatta and Kris Letang necessitated this move for the Penguins.

Marchenko has not appeared in a game since being claimed off of waivers from Detroit on February 4th, but he’ll be paired with Jake Gardiner tonight vs. the Rangers. Marchenko had six assists in 30 games with the Red Wings before being waived.

Andersen gave up four goals on 20 shots in the Maple Leafs’ 5-4 OT win over the Jets on Tuesday. It was an ugly performance for Andersen, but was enough to walk away with his 24th win of the season. He is 1-1-0 with a 3.02 GAA and .921 SV% vs. the Rangers and comes into play having allowed three-plus goals in seven of his last nine starts.

Khudobin allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Bruins’ win over the Canucks on February 11th. Khudobin has had a tough season at the NHL level, but tonight he takes on a Kings team that has lost five of their last seven games. Khudobin is 2-5-1 with a 3.05 GAA and .888 SV% in nine appearances and is a risky option regardless of his matchup.




Rask allowed one goals on 30 shots in the Bruins’ win in San Jose on Saturday. Rask has won three straight games while posting an impressive 1.32 GAA, .951 SV% and one shutout. Tonight, he is expected to face Anaheim for the first time this season—Rask has gone 15-6-4 with a 2.12 GAA and .922 SV% on the road so far this season.

Gibson was expected to start on Wednesday after finishing Monday's game with 14 saves in relief, but he is now day-to-day with a mysterious lower-body injury. With Gibson sidelined, Jonathan Bernier will get the nod and Jhonas Enroth has been recalled to be his backup.

Bernier was pulled after allowing three gaols on six shots in a loss in Arizona and now carries a 2.93 GAA and .901 SV% in 22 appearances this season.

Schaller has scored seven times with seven assists (14 points) in 52 games this season, but tonight he’ll come out of the lineup so Matt Beleskey can face his former team.

Beleskey has been a healthy scratch in two of the last three games, but will draw back in against his former team tonight. Beleskey has just seven points (2G / 5A) in 33 games this season after scored 15 goals and 22 assists (37 points) a year ago.

Langhamer allowed one goal on eight shots to preserve the Coyotes’ win over the Ducks after replacing an injured Mike Smith on Monday. With Smith healthy and Louis Domingue now good to go, Langhamer will return to the Tucson, where he is 4-5-0 with a 2.90 GAA and .914 SV% this season.

Gibson stopped all 14 shots that he faced in relief of Jonathan Bernier in the Ducks loss in in Arizona on Monday. It was a nice performance from Gibson, who was coming off of a 24-save shutout the night before. He comes into tonight’s game having stopped the last 38 shots he has faced, but will be in tough vs. a strong Bruins offence.
