Buchnevich went down for one game and scored two goals, so he comes back with Jesper Fast out for a few weeks. He could draw into the lineup in Boston on Thursday.

Mason stopped all 33 shots that he faced in a 4-0 shutout win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. It was a nice return to the crease for Mason, who obviously start again tonight. The 28-year-old has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.44 GAA and .964 SV% in his first two starts against the Panthers.

Price stopped all 26 shots that he faced in the Canadiens’ shutout win over the Blue Jackets on Tuesday. After some struggles, Price has played a lot better in his last starts—he has three wins with a 1.56 GAA, .945 SV% and one shutout. Price stopped 22 of 23 shots in a 2-1 OT win in his first start vs. the Predators.

Lehner allowed five goals on 41 shots in the Sabres’ loss to the Predators on Tuesday. Lehner has lost three in a row while allowing a whopping 14 goals on 107 shots (.869 SV%). Lehner has gone 8-10-4 with a 2.49 GAA and .925 SV% on home ice this season and faces a Coyotes team who has lost three of four.

Markstrom missed Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury and will miss at least the next three games. Richard Bachman will serve as Ryan Miller’s backup and could draw a start on their Saturday-Sunday back-to-back in Los Angeles and Anaheim.

Konecny will miss his ninth straight game with a lower-body injury, but is at least one week ahead of schedule. Monitor his status prior to Saturday’s game in Washington.

Burmistrov was taken to the hospital after being hit by Bruins’ defenseman Colin Miller, but was released later that evening. Burmistrov traveled with the team, but they also recalled Anthony Duclair for the trip, which suggests that Burmistrov won’t play on Thursday.

Suter left Tuesday’s game in Winnipeg after playing just 10:20 TOI. Suter doesn’t miss time, so expect him to do everything he can to be ready for Thursday’s game in Columbus. Monitor his status during the morning skate.

The Lightning traded Valtteri Filppula to the Flyers earlier, so McKegg, who was claimed off of waivers from the Panthers, will play tonight. McKegg had four points (2G / 2A) in seven AHL games and six points (3G / 3A) in 31 games with the Panthers before being waived.

Lack allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Hurricanes’ loss to the Flames on Sunday. Lack has gone 1-2-0 with a 2.54 GAA, .914 SV% and one shutout in four games since returning from injury and tonight he’ll take on a Lightning team that is heating up.

Sheary continues to inch closer to a return to the Penguins’ lineup, but it won’t happen tonight vs. the Blackhawks. He has been sidelined since the final day of January and will now eye a Friday return vs. Tampa Bay.

Fleury made 44 saves on 47 shots in the Penguins win over the Jets on February 16th. Matt Murray started the last five games and Fleury wasn’t traded today, so he will start tonight in Chicago. Duclair, who had a breakout 20-goal, 24-assist season in 2015-16, struggled to just nine points (3G / 6A) in 41 games this season before being sent down. During his time with the Roadrunners, the 21-year-old tallied just one goal and seven assists (eight points) in 16 games.

Korpikoski tallied eight goals and 12 assists (20 points) in 60 games with the Stars this season and played under Blue Jackets’ head coach John Tortorella in New York in his first season, so there’s a bit of familiarity there. The Blue Jackets are deeper than the Stars, so it might be harder for him to find regular playing time in his new home.

Stafford’s best offensive years are behind him, but he brings a little added scoring depth to the Bruins’ bottom-6. Stafford has played a reduced role in Winnipeg this season and tallied just 13 points (4G / 9A) in 40 games.

Streit was a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning for all of 45 minutes before being flipped to the Penguins for a draft pick. The Lightning move was a salary cap move, but the Penguins really need help on the back-end because of the long-term injuries to Olli Maatta and Trevor Daley. He still brings a decent offensive punch and can play the second power play unit with Justin Schultz.

Oleksy, 31, is a veteran blueliner, who has just one assist in 11 games with the Penguins this season. He has spent the majority of the time in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL), where he had one goal and four assists (five points). He will likely report to the Toronto Marlies.
