Luongo will start Wednesday vs. the Jets.

Luongo allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Panthers’ loss to the Maple Leafs on December 28th. James Reimer has started the last two games, but Luongo will get back in goal tonight vs. the Jets. Luongo went 3-3-4 with a 2.88 GAA and .906 SV% in December, but has also been strong on home-ice, going 8-4-2 with a 2.17 GAA and .928 SV% at the BB&T Center.

Callahan (hip) will return to the Lightning lineup on Tuesday.

Callahan has missed the last 15 games with lingering srness in his surgically-repaired hip. Callahan will take Brian Boyle’s spot in the lineup on a line with Valtteri Filppula nd Jonathan Drouin. He had two goals and two assists in his first 15 games.

Andersen will start Tuesday in Washington.

Andersen allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Maple Leafs’ overtime win over the Red Wings in the Centennial Classic. It wasn’t Andersen’s best outing, but he has now won four in a row while posting a 1.69 GAA and .955 SV%. Andersen has gone 6-3-4 on the road this season, but won his first start vs. Washington on a 33-save performance.

Larsson (wrist/elbow) will miss the rest of the regular season.

Larsson suffered a dislocated wrist and elbow on Saturday and will miss the next 16 weeks rehabbing his injuries. Larsson is expected to be out until May, which means he could be back if the Sabres end up making the playoffs and go on a run.

Hellebuyck will start Tuesday in Tampa Bay.

Hellebuyck was yanked after he allowed four goals on 15 shots in the Jets’ loss to the Islanders last Saturday. Hellebuyck went 4-4-1 with a 3.06 GAA and .898 SV, making it his worst month of the season thus far. Tonight he faces the Lightning for the first time this season—he is 4-7-0 with a 3.04 GAA and .894 SV% on the road this season.

Sekera (illness) is expected to return to the Oilers’ lineup on Tuesday.

Sekera has missed the last two games with an illness, but is expected to return to the lineup tonight in Columbus. Sekera has had a nice season, collecting four goals and 13 assists (17 points) in 36 games. Expect him to draw back into the lineup on the second pair with Kris Russell.

Vasilevskiy will start Tuesday vs. the Jets.

Vasilevskiy allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Hurricanes last Saturday. Vasilevskiy has four wins in his last six appearances while posting a 2.47 GAA and .909 SV%. Tonight he will take on the Jets on home-ice—the 22-year old is 7-1-2 with a 2.25 GAA and .925 SV% at Amalie Arena this season.

Nilsson will start Tuesday in New York.

Nilsson allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Sabres’ loss in Brooklyn on December 23rd. Tonight he will make his 11th start of the season and it will come against a Rangers team that ranks third in the NHL with 3.41 goals per game. Nilsson won his first start vs. New York and has gone 1-2-2 with a 3.10 GAA and .904 SV% on the road.

Holtby starts Tuesday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Holtby allowed one goal on 24 shots in the Capitlals’ win over the Senators on Sunday. Holtby has gone 2-2-2 with a 1.64 GAA, .940 SV% and one shutout and tonight he will make his 29th start of the season. Holtby struggled in his first outing vs. the Maple Leafs, allowing four goals on 37 shots in a 4-2 loss.

Ward will start Tuesday vs. the Devils.

Ward allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Hurricanes’ loss in Tampa Bay last Saturday. Ward has won four of his last six games while posting a 1.99 GAA and .925 SV% and he will make his 13th consecutive start tonight vs. the Devils. The 32-year-old is 9-2-1 with a 1.91 GAA and .931 SV% in 13 starts at PNC Arena this season.

Marchenko (shoulder) is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday.

Marchenko has missed the last eight games with a shoulder injury and is expected to miss Wednesday’s game in Anaheim, but is expected to play Thursday in Los Angeles. Marchenko has five assists in 22 games this season.

The Predators have recalled Harry Zolnierczyk from Milwaukee (AHL).

Zolnierczyk has 16 points (6G / 10A) in 24 games with Milwaukee this season. He failed to pick up a point in his lone NHL game this season and just nine points (5G / 4A) in 61 career NHL games.

Boyle left last Saturday’s game with a lower-body injury and will miss tonight’s game vs. the Jets. Head coach Jon Cooper didn’t sound optimistic that Boyle would be available for Thursday either. Adam Erne could make his NHL debut on Tuesday with Boyle out.

Mueller has eight assists in 25 games with the Barracuda this season. The No.18 pick in 2013 has been recalled because Marc-Edouard Vlasic (face) was placed on IR on Monday and David Schlemko (upper-body) is questionable to play vs. the Kings, so Mueller could make his season debut. The 21-year-old has one goal and three assists (four points) in 50 career NHL games.

Schlemko suffered an upper-body injury on Saturday night and is questionable for tonight’s game vs. the Kings. With Marc-Edouard Vlasic out and Schlemko questionable, Mirco Mueller has been recalled and could make his season debut on Tuesday.
