Smith turned aside 27 of 28 shots in the Coyotes’ win over the Ducks on Monday. Smith has won four of his last five starts while stopping 161 of 172 shots (.936 SV%) and one shutout. He’s played well, but he has gone 0-2-0 with an ugly 4.04 GAA and .849 SV% in his first two starts against the Blackhawks this season.

Rask allowed one goals on 30 shots in the Bruins’ win in San Jose on Saturday. Rask has won three straight games while posting an impressive 1.32 GAA, .951 SV% and one shutout. Tonight, he is expected to face Anaheim for the first time this season—Rask has gone 15-6-4 with a 2.12 GAA and .922 SV% on the road so far this season.

Johnson has been sidelined since December 3rd and will miss Thursday’s game in Nashville, but says he’ll be ready to play on Saturday vs. the Sabres. It has been a lost season for the Sabres, but Johnson has played well in his limited action. He scored one goal with 10 assists while averaging 2.04 shots per game in 23 games earlier in the season.

Elliott allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Flames’ win in Nashville on Tuesday. It wasn’t a great outing for Elliott, but it was enough to earn the win and another start tonight in Tampa Bay. Elliott has gone 5-2-1 while posting a 2.57 GAA and .08 SV% in his last eight games. He has gone 7-7-3 with a 3.14 GAA and .883 SV% on the road this season.

Kerdiles, 23, has registered four goals with five assists (nine points) in 10 games with San Diego. The former second round pick (36th overall in 2012) could make his NHL debut on Wednesday as he’s skating with Corey Perry and Rickard Rakell in the Ducks’ morning skate.

Kearns has registered 18 goals and 22 assists (40 points) in 51 games with Bridgeport this season. The 35-year-old AHL veteran has just 33 games of NHL experience compared to 88 ECHL games and 642 AHL contests. He could draw into the lineup on Thursday because Cal Clutterbuck and Casey Cizikas were hurt on Tuesday.

Prince has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury and has been moved to IR today in order to create a roster spot to recall Bracken Kearns from Bridgeport (AHL). Prince is eligible to return to the lineup whenever he is healthy.

Larsson will miss Wednesday’s game with a lower-body injury, which means that Eric Gryba will draw back into the lineup. Larsson is listed as day-to-day, so consider him as questionable for Friday’s game in Washington.

Holtby allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Capitals’ shootout loss in Detroit on Saturday. Philipp Grubauer gave him the night off on Sunday, but Holtby will start tonight in Philadelphia. Holtby has gone 5-0-1 with a 2.31 GAA and .900 SV% in February. He stopped 36 of 38 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss in his first start in Philadelphia.

Neuvirth allowed two goals on 20 shots in the Flyers’ win in Vancouver on Sunday. Neuvirth is 3-3-1 with a 2.15 GAA and .901 SV% in his last seven starts and tonight he will look to steal one against the Capitals. He stopped all five shots he faced in relief in their 5-0 loss in Washington back in mid-January. The 28-year-old is 6-3-1 with a 2.07 GAA and .917 SV% on home ice.

Coreau has only played once in the last 10 games and will go to Grand Rapids (AHL) during the Red Wings bye week. Coreau has gone 5-3-3 with a 3.27 GAA, .893 SV% and two shutouts in 13 games with the Red Wings this season. He should return to the Red Wings after the bye week.

Melchiori played 22:02 TOI in last night’s game in Toronto, but will return to Manitoba with the Jets’ bye week starting on Wednesday. Melchiori has two goals and four assists (six points) in 32 games with the Moose this season.

Tanev appeared in the last three games with the Jets, but will head down to Manitoba during the Jets’ bye week. Tanev has one goal and four assists (five points) in 10 games with the Moose.

Hoffman missed Tuesday’s game in New Jersey with a groin injury that he suffered on Sunday. Hoffman is expected to miss Thursday’s game, but monitor his status leading up to the Senators’ back-to-back games on Monday and Tuesday.

Stone missed Tuesday’s game in New Jersey with a neck injury that he suffered on a hit from Jacob Trouba on Sunday. Stone was fortunate to avoid a concussion on the play and could end up only missing two games. Monitor his status leading up to the Sunday-Monday back-to-back.

Reimer allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Panthers’ win in St. Louis on Monday. Reimer has been great as of late, posting a 1.44 GAA and .948 SV% in his last six appearances. The 28-year-old appears to have supplanted Roberto Luongo as the No.1 in Florida and tonight he’ll face the Oilers for the second time this season. He allowed four goals on 31 shots in a 4-3 OT loss in the first meeting.
