Lizotte (concussion) will make his Penguins debut on Thursday.

Lizotte suffered a concussion during training camping and has missed the first 11 games of the season, but is finally ready to make his debut on Thursday against the Anaheim Ducks. The 28-year-old signed a two-year, $3.7 million contract in the offseason with Pittsburgh after five solid seasons in Los Angeles. In 62 games in 2023-24, Lizotte had seven goals, 15 points, 76 SOG and 20 PIMs while averaging just 11:49 TOI/GP.

Daccord will start in Toronto on Thursday.

Daccord has seemingly taken over the crease in Seattle and will start between the pipes for a fourth straight game on Thursday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Daccord was stellar in his last outing, saving 28 of 30 shots (.933 SV%) in an 8-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens in his previous outing, and has a respectable 2.80 GAA and .914 SV% through six games this season (4-1-1). Seattle enters the action on Thursday as +164 road underdogs against a Maple Leafs club that has lost three of their last four (1-2-1).

Dostal will start in Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Dostal is fresh off another fantastic start on Tuesday, allowing just a single goal on 41 shots against in a 3-1 victory on Long Island. The 24-year-old netminder has been one of the most underrated goaltenders in the early parts of the 2024-25 season, compiling a 4-2-1 record to go along with a ridiculous .943 SV% and 2.00 GAA. Despite the hot start, Dostal and the Ducks enter action in Pittsburgh on Thursday at +150 on the money line.

Kochetkov will start against the Bruins on Thursday.

With Frederik Andersen still sidelined due to a minor injury, the Hurricanes will roll with Kochetkov for a second consecutive game. The 25-year-old Kochetkov has won three of four starts (3-1-0), allowing three or fewer goals three times, posting a 2.77 GAA and .894 SV%. The Hurricanes, riding a four-game winning streak, enter the action on Thursday as -169 home favorites against a Boston Bruins club with a 4-5-1 record.

Honzek has been reassinged to the Calgary Wranglers (AHL).

The 19-year-old Slovak was the 16th overall pick of the Flames in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. In five games this season, Honzek has zero points, six shots, and six hits while averaging 12:24 time-on-ice. In a corresponding move, the Flames recalled Matt Coronato from the Calgary Wranglers (AHL).

Samuel Honzek
Coronato has been recalled from Calgary (AHL).

Coronato played five games with the Flames earlier this season, scoring two points (2G / 0A), and will likely draw back into their lineup after Samuel Honzek was reassigned to the Calgary Wranglers (AHL). Coronato was the 13th overall pick of the Flames in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft and had an excellent 2023-24 campaign with the Wranglers, scoring 42 points (15G / 27A) in 41 games.

Stienburg has been suspended for two games for charging Tampa Bay's Erik Cernak.

Stienburg was assessed 17 minutes in penalties, including a game misconduct, in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Tampa Lightning for charging Erik Cernak. Colorado's forward group is already thin due to a myriad of injuries and resorted to using defenseman Oliver Kylington as a third-line winger. To Colorado's advantage, Artturi Lehkonen (shoulder) is expected to make his season debut on Tuesday, creating some relief for a team already struggling to fill out their lineup.

Lazar underwent a successful left knee procedure on Thursday and is out indefinitely.

Lazar underwent knee surgery to address an injury suffered on October 27th. The 29-year-old Lazar, in his second season with the Devils, was a lineup regular before the injury, registering two points (1G / 1A) and a monstrous 36 hits in 12 games. Justin Dowling drew into the Devils' lineup in their previous game to fill in for Lazar.

Curtis Lazar
Mrazek will start on Thursday in San Jose.

The Blackhawks will roll with Mrazek for a fifth straight game when they take the ice on Thursday night against the San Jose Sharks. Mrazek was solid in his last outing, saving 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche, but he has a less impressive 3.04 GAA and .896 SV% through eight games this season (3-5-0). That said, he was in the crease in a 4-2 win over the Sharks two weeks ago, saving 20 of 22 shots (.909 SV%). The Blackhawks enter the action on Thursday as -153 road favorites against a Sharks club riding a two-game winning streak.

The Sharks enter the action on Thursday as +138 home underdogs against a Blackhawks club with a 3-6-1 record.

Mackenzie Blackwood
Celebrini (lower-body) returned to practice on Thursday but is still considered week-to-week.

Celebrini, who had one goal, one assist and two SOG in his NHL debut has not played since then, missing 10 straight games. There is no direct target date for his return to gameplay but his return to practice on Thursday is a promising sign that he will return the lineup sooner than later.

Macklin Celebrini
Bains has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Bains recorded his first career NHL goal on Saturday and has been impressive in Vancouver this season but continues to be a part of paper transactions sending him back to Abbotsford (AHL) due to salary cap implications. Last season with Abbotsford (AHL), Bains was an offensive stalwart, producing 55 points (16G / 39A) in 59 games, but the 23-year-old has played exclusively at the NHL level this season.
