Thompson will start on Tuesday vs. Vancouver.

The Golden Knights have won two straight, outscoring their opposition 6-2, and will roll with Thompson again on Tuesday. Thompson has been tremendous lately, allowing only one goal in five straight starts (5-0-0), including his most recent outing when he saved 32 of 33 shots (.970 SV%) in a 2-1 win over the Minnesota Wild. The Golden Knights enter action as -131 home favourites against the Vancouver Canucks.

DeSmith was the first goalie off the ice at Vancouver's morning skate on Tuesday.

The Canucks gave DeSmith a rest for the first time since Thatcher Demko's injury but will likely return to DeSmith on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. DeSmith has performed well lately, allowing three or fewer goals in six straight (3-3-0), including saving 31 of 33 (.939 SV%) in his most recent contest, a 3-1 loss to the Dallas Stars. The Canucks enter action as +118 road underdogs.

Casey DeSmith
Dostal will start Tuesday in Calgary.

The Ducks have favoured Dostal between the pipes lately and will turn to him for the third time in the last four games as they attempt to snap their five-game losing skid. Considering the Ducks' recent offensive woes, Dostal has performed reasonably for the Ducks lately, posting a .907 SV% in his last six outings (1-4-1). That said, the Ducks enter action on Tuesday as sizeable +205 road underdogs against the Calgary Flames.

Hertl (knee) was in a regular jersey on Tuesday and has a chance to return on Friday vs. Arizona.

Hertl has been sidelined with a lower-body injury after undergoing a procedure in his left knee at the beginning of February but made his Golden Knights debut at practice in a non-contact jersey on Monday, preparing to potentially play his first game before the end of the week. The talented Czech forward has 34 points (15G / 19A) while averaging 20:54 time-on-ice through 48 games this season.

Tomas Hertl
Ullmark will start on Tuesday in Nashville.

Ullmark has lost two straight but will return to the crease for the Bruins on Tuesday against the Nashville Predators. Kolosov has been re-assigned from Dynamo Minsk (KHL) to Lehigh-Valley (AHL) on Tuesday.

Kolosov was the third-round pick of the Flyers in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft and will make his professional North American hockey debut with the Lehigh-Valley Phantoms (AHL). The 22-year-old netminder had a 2.21 GAA and .925 SV% in six games (2-4-0) with Dynamo Minsk (KHL) this season.

Aleksei Kolosov
Markstrom will start on Tuesday vs. Anaheim.

The Flames are fresh off an impressive 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings and will roll with Markstrom in the crease for a second straight game. Markstrom has seen limited action the last month due to injuries but has allowed three or fewer goals in three straight (1-2-0), including saving 16 of 18 shots (.889 SV%) in his last outing. The Flames enter action on Tuesday as significant -233 home favourites.

Jacob Markstrom
Marner (ankle) is trending towards returning at the end of this week according to Sheldon Keefe.

Marner has missed the Maple Leafs' previous 10 games due to an ankle injury but could return to the lineup before the end of the week. The 26-year-old will likely have a handful of games left in the season to add to his 25 goals and 76 points in 62 games.

Mitch Marner
Rielly (upper body) is expected to be available on Wednesday vs. Tampa Bay.

After not missing a single game due to injury, Rielly has missed four straight due to an upper-body injury. The 30-year-old All-Star defenseman has enjoyed a very strong year leading the Maple Leafs' point, with seven goals, 51 points, 165 SOG, 27 PIMs and a +8 plus/minus through 65 games.

Morgan Rielly
Tanev (upper body) was a full participant in practice on Tuesday after leaving Saturday's game early.

Tanev briefly left Saturday's game against the Seattle Kraken after receiving a high hit from Adam Larsson that earned him a five-minute major and a game misconduct. The 34-year-old Tanev missed several shifts but completed the game and, after being evaluated, was a full participant at practice on Tuesday and is not expected to miss any time.

Chris Tanev
Gustafsson (upper body) returned to practice in a regular jersey on Tuesday and is expected to return on Wednesday.

Gustafsson has not played in over a week but should return to the ice on Wednesday against the New Jersey Devils. Gustafsson has two points (0G / 2A) in his last four games while averaging nearly 21 minutes of ice time.
