Couturier is expected to be scratched on Tuesday vs. Toronto.

Couturier, the Flyers captain, joins a group of notable veteran healthy scratches on Tuesday including Cam Atkinson and Marc Staal. After a decent start to the season with 30 points (10G / 20A) in his first 41 games, Couturier has struggled immensely with only six points (1G / 5A) in his last 23 contests.

The Islanders enter action as +138 home underdogs against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Reimer is in the starter's net at Tuesday's morning skate.

Unsurprisingly, the Red Wings will likely turn Reimer on Tuesday, partly resulting from Alex Lyon's abysmal netminding lately. Reimer is responsible for the Red Wings' only victory in March, a 4-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday when he saved 25 of 26 shots (.962 SV%). The struggling Red Wings enter action as -164 home underdogs against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

James Reimer
Allen is in the starter's crease at Tuesday's morning skate.

The Devils will likely turn to Allen for the third time in the last four games since he made his team debut less than a week ago. Allen has been tremendous in two games (1-1-0) as a Devil, saving 69 of 73 combined shots (.945 SV%). The Devils' offence has been limited to only one goal in three of their last four games (1-3-0), but they enter action against the Penguins as -125 home favourites.

Jake Allen
Ruhwedel is expected to make his Rangers' debut on Tuesday vs. Winnipeg.

Ruhwedel was acquired before the trade deadline from the Pittsburgh Penguins for a 2027 fourth-round pick. The 33-year-old Ruhwedel is averaging only 12:33 time-on-ice this season, his lowest total in 10 seasons, and has four points (1G / 3A), 73 hits, and 36 blocks in 47 games.

Ersson had the night off in the Flyers 6-5 loss to the Boston Bruins on Saturday, but he will return to the crease for the sixth time in the last seven games on Tuesday. The Flyers enter action as +120 road underdogs against the Maple Leafs.

Daccord will start against the Sabres on Monday.

Seattle is riding a four-game losing streak and will turn to Daccord on Monday night for his second start in their last four games. Daccord has been limited to only one win in his last three outings (1-2-0) but has played well lately, allowing three or fewer goals in each, including saving 21 of 23 shots (.913 SV%) in his last contest, a 2-1 loss to the Washington Capitals. Seattle enters action as a -115 home favourite against the Buffalo Sabres.

Joey Daccord
Dmitry Kulikov has been suspended for two-games for an illegal check to the head of Conor Sheary.

Kulikov's major penalty on Tampa Bay's Conor Sheary was the subject to much debate over the weekend but has led to a two-game suspension for the blueliner. The 33-year-old will miss Florida's next two games against Nashville and the New York Rangers. Through 64 games before his suspension, the veteran had failed to score but has 16 assists, 61 SOG, 59 PIMs and +9 plus/minus.

Lindgren (lower body) is considered week-to-week but is expected to return this season.

Lindgren left the Rangers' game on Sunday after a horrific leg injury and is luckily only considered week-to-week and is expected to return by season's end. The 26-year-old defensemen likely closes out his regular season with two goals, 13 points, 60 SOG, 30 PIMs and a +19 plus/minus through 66 games played before his injury.

Ryan Lindgren
Scanlin has been recalled from Hartford (AHL) on Monday.

With the news that Ryan Lindgren (lower body) will be out week-to-week, Brandon Scanlin has been recalled from Hartford (AHL) for the first time this season. Brandon Scanlin
Montembeault will start on Tuesday vs. Edmonton.

Montreal's goaltending carousel continues on Tuesday as Samuel Montembeault takes back the crease and looks to end a personal four-game losing streak. The 27-year-old netminder has played well despite Montreal providing limited offense this season, with his 13-12-6 record, 3.11 GAA and .905 SV%. He draws the difficult task of Edmonton on the road Tuesday, who have won seven of their last 10 games and currently sit fourth in the NHL in goals per game (3.52).

Sam Montembeault
Bortuzzo (lower body) has officially been activated from Long-Term Injured Reserve.

Bortuzzo has been a healthy scratch for the Blues' previous two games and has been officially removed from the Long-Term Injured Reserve due to a lower-body injury on Monday. The 35-year-old veteran last appeared for the Islanders on January 2nd and has yet to pick up a point in 15 games this season with both New York and St. Louis.

Robert Bortuzzo
