The 24-year-old undrafted defensemen had been enjoying a strong season in Hartford, with eight goals, 16 points, 39 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 57 games played.
St. Ivany was the fourth-round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and has yet to play an NHL game. The 24-year-old California-born defenseman has spent the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL), tallying 12 points (4G / 8A) in 52 games.
Regenda has played the last four games for the Ducks but has been reassigned to the San Diego Gulls of the AHL. The 24-year-old Slovak forward has been held off the scoresheet in five games with the Ducks this season.
