Christiansen played three games with the Blue Jackets earlier this season but has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign in the AHL. He has 40 points (13G / 27A) in 54 games with the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) and could slot into the Blue Jackets lineup after being recalled due to Adam Boqvist suffering an upper-body injury.
Edstrom played 11 games with the Rangers earlier this season, scoring two goals, but has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL). The towering 6'8 Edstrom has 12 points (8G / 4A) in 28 games with Hartford this season.
Shea has seen minimal action lately, not suiting up for Pittsburgh since December, and has been reassigned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Shea has zero points in 22 games with Pittsburgh this season. In a corresponding move, Pittsburgh has recalled Jack St. Ivany.
St. Ivany was the fourth-round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and has yet to play an NHL game. The 24-year-old California-born defenseman has spent the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL), tallying 12 points (4G / 8A) in 52 games. In a corresponding move, Ryan Shea has been reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Czarnik spent some time with the Red Wings earlier this season, scoring one point (0G / 1A) in 18 games, but has spent most of his time in the AHL. The 31-year-old Czarnik has 26 points (9G / 17A) in 36 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) this season.
Willman last appeared for the Devils' on February 6th and has spent the last month and a week in Utica (AHL) but was recalled to meet the team in Dallas on Wednesday. The 29-year-old centre is in his first season in New Jersey and has a goal, an assist, 14 SOG, two PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 13 games played so far.
Wotherspoon has earned his first call-up of the season after it was announced Jonas Seaganthaler (concussion) would be out indefinitely and will meet the Devils in Dallas. The 31-year-old defenseman makes a great story as his last NHL appearance was in 2016-17 with Calgary. He succeeded on Utica's back-end so far this season, with four goals, 19 points, 18 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 54 games played.
Pyyhtia has earned his first call-up of the season on an emergency basis after putting up seven goals and 27 points in 57 games with Cleveland (AHL). The 22-year-old left-winger made a brief appearance with the Blue Jackets' in 2022-23 and had an assist and two PIMs in two games played.
Ginning made his season debut with the Flyers last week, his second career game, but has been sent back down to the AHL. In 53 games with the Lehigh-Valley Phantoms (AHL), Ginning has 13 points (2G / 11A).
Beecher has played 39 games with Boston this season, tallying seven points (5G / 2A), but has not played with the team since January 13th. Recently, he has been active with the Providence Bruins (AHL), scoring eight points (4G / 4A) in 17 games.
Hatakka played nine games with the Devils earlier this season, recording two assists, but has spent most of his season with the Utica Comets (AHL). The 23-year-old defenseman was a sixth-round pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and has 17 points (4G / 13A) in 41 games with Utica this season.
Smejkal played the last three games with Ottawa, averaging just over seven minutes of ice time while recording four shots and five hits. The Czech forward has spent most of his season with the Belleville Senators, tallying 19 points (8G / 11A) in 39 games.
Soderstrom will return to Tucson after being recalled on an emergency basis on Friday. Travis Dermott (illness) will presumably re-enter the lineup in his place.
Shea hasn't appeared in an NHL game since December 8th. He is yet to register a point in 22 games with the Penguins this season.
Gruden played the last six games from the Penguins but was placed on waivers on Monday. He will return to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL), where he has 23 points (13G / 10A) in 41 games this season.
Max Jones will be out of the lineup on Tuesday due to an illness, allowing Regenda the opportunity to draw back in. Regenda last played on March 6th, tallying one shot and one hit in 12:15 time-on-ice.
With Thatcher Demko sidelined for the next few weeks, Vancouver recalled Silovs from Abbotsford (AHL). Silovs played five games in Vancouver last season but has spent the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign with Abbotsford, posting a 2.74 GAA and .907 SV% in 33 games (15-11-6). The 22-year-old Silovs is unlikely to see much, if any, action with Vancouver and will likely serve exclusively as Casey DeSmith's backup.
Leonard has played 64 career NHL games but has spent the 2023-24 campaign exclusively in the AHL, scoring 27 points (11G / 16A) in 54 games with the Tuscon Roadrunners. The 25-year-old Leonard was the sixth-round pick of the San Jose Sharks in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
