Pavelec has gone 5-6-1 with a 2.82 GAA and .906 SV% in 13 starts and two relief appearances this season.
Pavelec, who was placed on IR this morning, is expected to be out through December. There was no concrete timetable given, but he will miss at least the entire month of December and could be out through January as well. With Pavelec out, the Jets will turn to Michael Hutchinson and Connor Hellebuyck as their goaltending duo.
Pavelec will miss at least seven games because of a lower-body injury, which means the Jets will turn to Michael Hutchinson and Connor Hellebuyck for the foreseeable future. Expect a full update later today.
