Tomkins will start in Montreal on Tuesday. With the Lightning playing their second game in as many nights, Tomkins will relieve temporary starter Jonas Johansson between the pipes on Tuesday. It's the third start of the year for the 29-year-old rookie who spent the last two seasons in the Swedish Hockey League. Tomkins will be looking for his first win of the season and will be hoping to improve on his .891 SV% and 3.61 GAA. He and the Lightning are slight road favourites at -130 over the Canadiens. Luukkonen will start in Carolina on Tuesday. Luukkonen served as the backup on Saturday to allow Devon Levi to return to the crease but will be the Sabres' starter on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes. In his most recent game, Luukkonen surrendered five goals on 19 shots in a lopsided 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers. Before that, Luukkonen was in the midst of a four-game stretch (3-1-0) where he saved 113 of 122 shots (.926 SV%). The Sabres will hope that Luukkonen can re-channel that early-season form as they are heavy +200 road underdogs on Tuesday.Source: Mike Harrington
Ville Husso will start Tuesday vs. the New York Rangers.Husso will take the Red Wings' crease for a fourth-straight start Tuesday after stopping 26 of 30 shots (.867 SV%) in a win over Boston his last time between the pipes. On Saturday, Quick allowed four goals on 40 shots as the Rangers gave up a 3-0 lead en route to losing 5-4 in a shootout to the Minnesota Wild. That said, Quick has played well on a whole this season, posting a 1.42 GAA and .948 SV% in four games (2-0-1) but will be put to the test Tuesday against a Detroit Red Wings team that is averaging the sixth-most goals per game this season (3.75).Source: Vince Mergoliano

Fleury picked up the rare relief win in the Wild's previous game after coming in to stop 13 of 14 shots (.929 SV%) in the first period vs. the Rangers and will take on the Islanders on Tuesday. The 38-year-old has had a disappointing start to his campaign, as he is 2-2-21 with a .892 SV% and 2.83 GAA. Varlamov will start Tuesday's game against the Wild. Varlamov is coming off his league-leading second shutout of the season and will be the starting goalie for the Islanders on Tuesday when they host the Minnesota Wild. Varlamov has been tremendous in his limited action between the pipes this season, even outperforming teammate and perennial Vezina-finalist Ilya Sorokin, posting a league-best 1.00 GAA and .972 SV% through three games (2-1-0). The Islanders will be tested against the Wild and their ninth-ranked offence (3.55 GF / GP) but still rank as -128 home favourites.Source: Andrew Gross
Hellebuyck will start in St. Louis on Tuesday. Hellebuyck will get his fourth consecutive start on Tuesday as the Winnipeg Jets are -137 road favourites against the St. Louis Blues. Hellebuyck is coming off a 22-save performance in which he allowed three goals in a 5-3 victory over the Arizona Coyotes. However, he has not been the dominant goalkeeper the league has become accustomed to over the years, posting a 3.08 GAA and .890 SV% through nine games (5-3-1) and has recorded a sub- .900 SV% in each of his last three outings (1-1-1). That said, he will look to regain his form against the low-scoring Blues, who rank 29th in the league offensively (2.40 GF / GP).Source: Lou Korac
Jordan Binnington will start Tuesday vs. Winnipeg. Binnington will return to the Blues' crease on Tuesday after serving as the backup to Joel Hofer in the team's most recent contest on Saturday, a 6-3 victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Binnington has been unpredictable when called upon this season but has shown more good than bad, sporting a 2.38 GAA and .924 SV% in seven contests (3-1-1). The Blues have struggled to provide Binnington with goal support all season (2.40 GF / GP) but are coming off a season-best six-goal performance that they will hope to carry into their matchup against the Winnipeg Jets, who are -138 road favourites. Daccord will start in Arizona on Tuesday. After watching Philipp Grubauer start the previous three games, Daccord will return the starter's crease for the Kraken on Tuesday. Daccord has been more than serviceable when called upon this season, posting a 2.88 GAA and .912 SV% in five games (2-1-2). The Kraken are slight -106 road favourites against an Arizona Coyotes team that has lost four of their last six (2-3-1). Despite a subpar 5-6-0 record, the Predators rank top-ten in the league defensively, allowing an average of only 2.91 goals per game, which bodes well as they take on the Calgary Flames, who rank fifth-worst offensively (2.55 GF / GP).Source: Aaron Vickers
Allen will start against the Lightning on Tuesday. The Habs number-one netminder will return to the crease on Tuesday after Sam Montembeault got the call against the Blues on Saturday. Allen has enjoyed an incredibly hot start to the season, registering a .927 SV% and a 2.72 GAA along with a 3-1-1 record across his first five starts. He'll be looking to get back in the win column tonight after suffering a defeat in Arizona on Thursday despite surrendering just three goals on 35 shots (.914 SV%). Allen and the Habs are fortunate to catch the Lightning on the tail-end of a back-to-back, but they are still slight underdogs at +110.Source: Jonathan Bernier
Georgiev will start Tuesday's game against the Devils.Georgiev will look to rebound after allowing a season-worst seven goals on 34 shots in a 7-0 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday. Georgiev started the season by saving 109 of 113 shots (.965 SV%) in his first four outings (4-0-0) but has since fallen off a cliff, allowing 22 goals on 145 shots (.848 SV%) in his five games since (2-3-0). Jarry will start in Anaheim on Tuesday. It's been a very hot and cold start to the 2023-24 season for Jarry. The 28-year-old netminder is tied for the league lead with two shutouts to his name, but he also boasts an unsavory .897 SV% and a 2.73 GAA across eight starts. Jarry and the Penguins will be looking to build off a dominant win in San Jose on Saturday, when Jarry turned away 24 of the 26 shots he faced enroute to the 10-2 routing. Jarry and the Penguins somewhat curiously find themselves as heavy road favourites (-190) in Anaheim tonight despite the Ducks' impressive start to the season. Source: Matt Vensel
John Gibson will start Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh. Gibson returned from an upper-body injury on Sunday and saved 30 of 32 shots en route to defeating the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2, their first regulation loss of the season. The Ducks were mostly rotating starts between Gibson and Lukas Dostal but will reward Gibson with his first consecutive start of the season after his mighty performance on Sunday. The Ducks are +170 home underdogs against a Pittsburgh Penguins team that has lost five of their last seven games (2-5-0). On October 30th, Gibson saved six of seven shots against the Penguins before exiting the game with an injury, a game that the Ducks ultimately won 4-3.Source: Alyson Lozoff
Samuel Ersson will start Tuesday vs. San Jose. With Carter Hart still out of the lineup and Cal Petersen having a poor performance in his Flyers debut on Saturday, Ersson will man the crease on Tuesday. Ersson's dreadful 3.90 GAA and .815 SV% don't inspire much confidence, but a matchup against the bottom-dwelling San Jose Sharks could be exactly what is needed to turn his season around. The Flyers, who will welcome Sean Couturier back into the lineup, are -186 road favourites against a Sharks team that has been outscored 20-3 in their past two contests. Source: Kevin Kurtz
Vanecek will start in Colorado on Tuesday. Vanecek has seemingly secured the Devils' starting gig as he will be the starter for the fifth time in their last six games. Vanecek has been far from perfect but has done enough to give the high-scoring Devils (3.91 GF / GP) a chance to win on most nights, posting a 3.05 GAA and .900 SV% through eight games (6-2-0). The Devils, without Jack Hughes, are +160 road underdogs against the Colorado Avalanche, who will be desperate for a victory after being shut out in three of their last four contests (1-3-0).Source: Ryan Boulding
