Anaheim has acquired Robby Fabbri and a 2025 4th Round Pick from Detroit for Gage Alexander.

Fabbri is in the final year of a three-year, $12 million contract ($4,000,000 AAV) and has been traded alongside a conditional 2025 4th-round pick to Anaheim for Gage Alexander. The 28-year-old has spent the last five seasons in Detroit and had 18 goals, 32 points, 32 PIms and a -13 plus/minus in 68 games in 2023-24.

Anaheim has signed Carson Meyer to a one-year, two-way contract.

Anaheim added to its bottom six on Wednesday as they added Carson Meyer on a one-year, two-way contract. The 26-year-old had spent the last three seasons with the Blue Jackets after being drafted by them in the 2017 sixth round (179th overall). In 2023-24, he appeared in 14 games with Columbus, scoring a goal, two points, two PIMs and a -2 plus/minus.

Anaheim has signed Jansen Harkins to a two-year contract.

Harkins has been a fringe NHLer for the last two seasons, splitting his time between the NHL and AHL. In 2024, he had 12 points (5G / 7A) in 14 AHL games and four assists in 45 NHL games with the Penguins. Now with the Ducks, he'll likely be in the mix as their No.12 forward.

Anaheim has acquired Brian Dumoulin from Seattle for a 2026 4th-round pick.

Seattle managed to clear up some defensive room on Tuesday by trading away Brian Dumoulin to Anaheim for a 2026 4th-round pick. The 32-year-old is entering his 12th NHL season and has 626 games played in his career. In 2023-24 he had six goals, 16 points and 20 PIMs in 80 games played.

The Ducks signed Urho Vaakanainen to a one-year contract.

Vaakanainen will return to Anaheim for a fourth season after the 25-year-old signed a one-year contract extension to remain a Duck on Monday. The stay-at-home defenseman scored his first career NHL goal in 2023-24 after five previous seasons and ended with a career-high 14 points in 68 games played.

The Ducks signed Brett Leason to a one-year contract.

Leason had 11 goals and 22 points in 68 games with Anaheim in 2023-24 and earned himself a one-year contract extension on Monday. The 25-year-old towering defenseman is entering his fourth NHL season and has 20 goals, 37 points and 32 PIMs in 158 games played.

Anaheim has signed Isac Lundstrom to a one-year, $1.5 million contract extension.

Lundstrom had five goals and 11 points in 46 games played in 2023-24 and has earned himself a one-year, $1.5 million contract extension with Anaheim. the 24-year-old was the Ducks' 2018 1st-round pick (23rd overall) and had 31 goals and 69 points in 258 games played across six seasons with Anaheim.

Anaheim has signed Vyacheslav Buteyets to a two-year, entry-level contract.

Buteyets was Anaheim's 2022 sixth-round pick (178th overall) and signed a two-year, entry-level contract on Wednesday. The 21-year-old netminder just finished his third season with Chelmet Chelyabinsk (VHL), and had an impressive .913 SV% and 2.57 GAA.

Dostal will start in Vegas on Thursday.

Dostal will make back-to-back starts to close out the 2023-24 season as the Ducks are opting to give him the nod over John Gibson in Thursday's regular season finale. Dostal took the loss his last time out, allowing three goals on 28 shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Kings. He comes into tonight's game with a .900 SV% and a 13-23-3 record across 43 appearances. Unsurprisingly, he is a longshot to get back in the win column on Thursday with the Ducks being +310 underdogs in Vegas.

Gauthier will make his NHL debut on Thursday vs. Vegas.

Gauthier was acquired in a trade from the Philadelphia Flyers earlier this season and will make his NHL debut on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 20-year-old Gauthier was the fifth overall pick of the Flyers in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and has spent the last two seasons playing collegiate hockey. He scored an impressive 65 points (38G / 27A) in 41 games with Boston College this season.

Gibson will start on Friday vs. Calgary.

The Ducks will turn to Gibson in the crease for the first time since a 6-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on March 30th when he allowed six goals on 37 shots (.838 SV%). Gibson has a 3.48 GAA and a career-worst .890 SV% through 45 games this season (13-26-2). The Ducks enter action on Friday as +116 home underdogs against the Calgary Flames.

Anaheim has signed Sam Colangelo to a two-year, entry-level contract.

Colangelo was the 36th overall pick of the Anaheim Ducks in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old forward recently made his professional debut and has recorded four points (1G / 3A) in four games with the San Diego Gulls (AHL).

Silfverberg will retire from the NHL after 12 NHL seasons.

Silfverberg has decided to retire at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season. The 33-year-old Silfverberg was the 39th overall pick of the Ottawa Senators in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and spent the past 11 seasons as a member of the Ducks. He has 19 points (7G / 12A) through 78 games this season.

Meyer (upper body) is expected to be out week-to-week and miss the remainder of the season.

Meyer left Columbus' game Tuesday after just two shifts and 1:26 TOI due to a lower-body injury and will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season as he is week-to-week with the injury. The 26-year-old had just tied his previous career high for games played (14) on Tuesday and ends his season with a goal and two points while averaging just 9:07 TOI from a bottom-six role.
