Rask gets the nod vs. the Stars.

Rask made 31 saves on 32 shots in the Bruins win in Florida last Friday. Rask has won each of his last two starts and three of his last four while posting a 2.23 GAA and .922 SV%. He draws a tough matchup with the Stars in town—Dallas has averaged 3.42 goals per game and are coming off of a tough loss last night vs. the Maple Leafs.

Pastrnak (foot) will not play on Tuesday.

Pastrnak suffered a foot injury while blocking a shot in Friday’s game in Florida. he played on Saturday, but only played 7:41 TOI, so he clearly wasn’t 100 percent. He will get a few days off to allow his foot to heal, so the Bruins recalled Alex Khokhlachev, who replace Pastrnak.

Rask surrendered five goals on 37 shots in the Bruins 5-4 loss to the Flyers last Wednesday. Jonas Gustavsson started on Friday, but the Bruins will go back to Rask tonight vs. the Coyotes. It has been a rough October for Rask, who has a 4.40 GAA and .854 SV% in five starts. However, he should be able to get back into the win column tonight vs. a Coyotes team who played last night.

He comes into play tonight with an ugly 4.29 GAA and .851 SV% on the season, but draws a good matchup vs. the Flyers team struggling to score early on.

Bergeron missed the Bruins’ gameday skate because of ‘personal reasons’ which is believed to be that his wife is expecting. Bergeron is listed as a game-time decision, so monitor his status as warmups draw near.

Rask surrendered three goals on 23 shots in the Bruins win in Arizona on Saturday. The win was his first of the season and snapped a three-game losing streak for Rask. He comes into play tonight with an ugly 4.29 GAA and .851 SV% on the season, but draws a good matchup vs. the Flyers team struggling to score early on.

Rask allowed six goals on 23 shots in the Bruins loss to the Lightning on Monday. Rask has had a terrible start to the season. He has registered 4.72 GAA and .846 SV% in three consecutive losses. Rask will start vs. a Coyotes team who has gotten off to a great start to the season.

Rask gave up three goals on 37 shots in the Bruins loss to the Canadiens on Saturday. Rask’s struggles vs. the Habs continued and he now sits winless through two starts while giving up eight goals on 58 shots (.882 SV%). It will be difficult for him to get into the win column this afternoon with the Lightning in town. Rask was 2-1-1 with a 3.04 GAA and .882 SV% vs. Tampa Bay last season.

Rask allowed five goals on 31 shots in the Bruins loss to the Jets on Thursday. It was certainly not an ideal start to the season for Rask and the Bruins and things don’t get any easier with the Canadiens in town this evening. Rask struggled mightily against the Canadiens last season, going 0-3-0 with a 3.29 GAA and .886 SV%.
