The Sabres have suspended Nikita Zadorov for failure to report.

Zadorov was in the Dominican Republic during the All Star break. He was unable to return in-time to make practice on Monday, so he has been suspended by the team. He will not play tonight, but is expected to join the team at some point during their road-trip this week.

Pastrnak appeared in his ninth game last night, and the Bruins announced that he will be sticking with the team, burning the first year of his entry-level contract. He has recorded four goals, one assist and a plus-6 rating in nine games. He is the type of game-breaking offensive talent the Bruins needed.

Johnson (lower-body) returned to the lineup on Thursday.

Johnson skated in the morning with a no-contact jersey and coach Jon Cooper said he thinks Johnson would be back before the All Star break. He never formally ruled him out, but all signs pointed towards him not playing. To no one’s surprise, Johnson recorded two assists, giving him four goals and seven assists (11 points) in his last seven games.

He followed up his three-game losing streak with a three-game winning streak while allowing six goals on 82 shots (.928 SV%). He will start vs. the Rangers at TD Garden, where he is 13-4-4- with a 2.26 GAA and .917 SV% this season.
