Rask stopped 24 of 25 shot attempts in the Bruins 3-1 win over the Flyers on Saturday. After losing three in a row, Rask has now won back-to-back starts and will look to make it three consecutive tonight vs. the Lightning. He is 2-0-2 with a 1.69 GAA and .944 SV% in four starts in 2015 and catches a break against a Lightning team who could be missing Tyler Johnson and Victor Hedman.

Johnson (lower-body) will not play tonight and is listed as day-to-day.

Johnson was injured in the Lightning’s loss last night and will not play tonight vs. the Bruins. He will be replaced by Vladislav Namestnikov, who was recalled this morning. Monitor his status prior to Thursday’s game vs. Edmonton.

Tuukka Rask
Johnson (lower-body) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Bruins.

Johnson suffered a lower-body injury in the Lightning’s blowout 7-3 loss to the Flyers last night. “There’s a good chance” he doesn’t play said head coach Jon Cooper said about the team’s leading scorer last night. Without a game day skate, we likely won’t know Johnson’s status until a few hours prior to puck-drop.

Rask allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Bruins overtime loss to the Senators last night. Rask and the B’s have lost three of their last four, so they will put their number-1 net minder back between the pipes for his second game in as many nights. He has started on back-to-back nights twice this season. He is 0-2-0 with a 3.99 GAA and .851 SV% in those games.

Rask starts vs. the Red Wings.

Rask allowed three goals on 15 shots after replacing Niklas Svedberg in Saturday’s loss to the Blue Jackets. Neither net minder was good in this one as a tough December continues for the Bruins. Rask is 3-4-2 with a 3.10 GAA and .895 SV% this month and tonight he will face a Red Wings team who always plays the Bruins tough in the regular season.

Bergeron (undisclosed) did not take part in the Bruins morning skate.

The Bruins called Bergeron day-to-day on Sunday, so his status for tonight’s game was unclear. Not being on the ice this morning does not bode well for Bergeron being available tonight vs. the Red Wings. We will get an update following the skate.
