Wotherspoon will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay.

Kevin Shattenkirk will be a healthy scratch on Thursday, allowing Wotherspoon to re-enter the lineup. Wotherspoon did not play in the Bruins' return to action from the All-Star break on Tuesday but played in their previous two games, recording five hits while averaging just under 18 minutes of ice time.

Poitras underwent shoulder surgery and will be sidelined for five months.

Poitras missed the Bruins' previous game before the All-Star break due to the injury and did practice in full on Sunday, but the team and Poitras have opted for surgery to repair his injured shoulder, bringing a premature end to his rookie season. The 19-year-old rookie left the Bruins briefly in December to attend this year's World Jr Tournament and has made a solid impact in his rookie season with five goals and 15 points in 33 games played.

The Canucks have acquired Lindholm from the Flames in exchange for Anderi Kuzmenko, Hunter Brzustewicz, Joni Jurmo, a 2024 first-round pick, and a conditional 2024 fourth-round draft pick.

With his contract set to expire at the end of this season, Elias Lindholm was long rumoured to be one of the top trade targets in the NHL this season, and that came to fruition on Wednesday when the Canucks acquired him in exchange for Andrei Kuzmenko, a pair of prospects, a first-round draft pick, and a conditional fourth-round draft pick. Lindholm had struggled to produce at his usual clip in Calgary this season, registering just nine goals and 23 assists in 49 games despite playing over 20 minutes a night. It's been reported that Lindholm did not agree to any sort of extension with Vancouver as part of the deal, so he does appear to be a rental for the time being. You can expect him to centre one of Vancouver's top two lines, though we likely won't get an official projected lineup until after the All-Star break.

Korpisalo will start Wednesday in Detroit.

Korpisalo was excellent in relief of Mads Sogaard on Monday, saving all 17 shots he faced in a 4-3 overtime victory over the Nashville Predators. Korpisalo has had a forgettable season but has played better lately, allowing three or fewer goals in five of his last six outings (3-1-2), posting a respectable .910 SV%. That said, the Senators are slight -101 road underdogs on Wednesday against the Detroit Red Wings, winners of two straight, outscoring their opposition 8-2.
