With Korbinian Holzer returning to Germany for a family matter, Welinski has been called up and is expected to play on Thursday. Bertuzzi suffered an upper-body injury in the Red Wings’ final game before the All-Star break and will not be available for either of their games this weekend. Justin Abdelkader will move to the Red Wings’ top line beside Dylan Larkin while Bertuzzi is out.

Brossoit is riding an impressive seven-game personal winning streak, posting a 2.26 GAA, .938 SV% and one shutout in the process. Brossoit has been fantastic this season and is a worthwhile spot start in Philadelphia—the Flyers are 4-1-0 in their last five.
