Mrazek allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Red Wings’ 2-1 OT loss to the Panthers on Sunday. Mrazek was excellent again on Sunday, but the Red Wings lack of offence led to Mrazek’s third overtime loss in his last four starts. Despite not winning consistently, Mrazek remains a great option tonight, at home vs. the Sabres—Mrazek is 2-1-3 with a 1.76 GAA and .938 SV% at Joe Louis Arena.

Talbot allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Oilers loss in Los Angeles on November 14th. Anders Nilsson has started the last four games, but Talbot will start tonight in Detroit. Talbot has lost five of his last six games, but has been strong in his career vs. Detroit—going 2-1-1 with a 1.96 GAA and .938 SV% vs. the Red Wings.

Mrazek gave up two goals on 37 shots in the Red Wings win over the Kings last Friday. The win snapped a short two-game losing skid for Mrazek, who continues to play extremely well this season. Overall he is 6-4-1 with a 2.15 GAA and .935 SV% on the season, but tonight he faces the Bruins at home, where he is 2-1-1 with an impressive 1.43 GAA and .952 SV%.

It was another strong outing for Mrazek, but he is getting all too familiar with seeing his mates struggle offensively. Tonight he will make his 11th start of the season and he comes in with a 5-4-1 record, 2.16 GAA and .934 SV%. He has a tough task on Friday with the Kings in town—they’ve won three in a row and sit 12-6-0 on the year.
