Jack Campbell was in the starters' crease at the morning skate Monday.

Campbell allowed four goals on 32 shots (.875 SV%) as he snapped a four-game losing streak with a win over San Jose in his last start. The 31-year-old has struggled greatly in his first season in Edmonton, with his 3.57 GAA and .882 SV% but surprisingly decent 18-9-4 record. He takes on the Arizona Coyotes, who have lost four-straight games and are last in the NHL in shots per game (25.6).

Craig Smith is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Smith has six goals, six assists, 76 SOG, 18 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 56 games with both Washington and Boston this season but is now considered day-to-day as he deals with a lower-body injury. The 33-year-old left the Capitals' previous game vs. Pittsburgh after just 4:54 TOI.

Jeff Petry will be a game-time decision Tuesday vs. Detroit (upper-body).

Petry has missed the Penguins' previous five games due to an upper-body injury and will be a game-time decision Tuesday vs. Detroit. The 35-year-old has five goals, 21 assists, 100 SOG, 20 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 52 games played prior to his injury.

Simek will draw into the Sharks lineup on Thursday (concussion/foot).

Simek has been out since March 4th due to a concussion and foot injury but will return to the Sharks' lineup Thursday vs. Vancouver. The 30-year-old has a goal, an assist, 37 SOG, 27 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 34 games this season prior to his injury.

Alex Lyon will start Tuesday vs. Philadelphia.

Lyon last started on January 28th and stopped 38 of 40 shots (.950 SV%) to snap a three-game losing streak as he beat Boston. The 30-year-old travelling netminder has been serviceable when called upon, with his 3-2-1 record, 3.89 GAA and .892 SV%. He takes on the struggling Philadelphia Flyers, who have lost nine of their last 11 games.

Edvinsson (undisclosed) is questionable to play Tuesday in St. Louis.

Edvinsson left Monday's game after a hit from Radko Gudas but was able to return and finish the game. Head coach Derek Lalonde said that Edvinsson is not feeling very good, so he's questionable to play Tuesday. With Gustav Lindstrom also banged up, the Red Wings may need to recall a defenseman if both are unavailable.

Petr Mrazek (groin) is good to go and will join the team in Washington this week.

Mrazek last played on March 14th, where he was forced to leave a battle vs. Boston after stopping 16 of 16 shots due to a groin injury, but will return to the Blackhawks Thursday as they take on Washington. The 31-year-old is expected to be good to go and will be hoping to improve on his ugly 8-19-3 record, 3.63 GAA and .895 SV%.

Campbell allowed six goals on 38 shots (.842 SV%) for his fourth-straight loss as he was handed a defeat by the Winnipeg Jets his last time between the pipes. The 31-year-old has last his hold on the Oilers' starting spot due to his uninspiring play this season, with his 17-9-4 record, 3.57 GAA and .882 SV%. He will take on the struggling San Jose Sharks, who are in the midst of a six-game losing streak and have lost 11 of their last 12 contests.

The Red Wings signed Antti Tuomisto to a two-year entry-level contract beginning with the 2023-24 season.

The Red Wings selected Tuomisto with the No.35 overall pick in 2019. After two seasons at the University of Denver, the right-handed defnseman returned to Finland for the 2023 season. Tuomisto scored five goals with 15 assists (20 points) in 60 games with TPS Turku (Liiga).

Holl will be a healthy scratch on Friday.

Holl has two goals, 12 assists, 48 SOG, 35 PIMs and a +16 plus/minus through 66 games played this season but will be a healthy scratch Friday. He will be replaced by Luke Schenn, who is making his Maple Leafs' debit this season after being traded for at the Trade Deadline.
