Kane has missed the Blackhawks' previous two games and is doubtful to return to the lineup Thursday vs. Colorado as he deals with a lower-body injury. The 34-year-old has not produced like his usual self this season, with seven goals, 20 assists, 100 SOG and a -24 plus/minus.

Lyon was 9-8-2 with a 2.55 GAA and .909 SV% with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) and will dress for the Florida Panthers as their backup netminder Tuesday as a replacement for the injured Spencer Knight (undisclosed).

Talbot allowed five goals on 19 shots (.737 SV%) and was pulled after just two periods of action in his previous start, picking up his second straight loss in a defeat to Seattle. The 35-year-old has struggled in his first season in Ottawa, with a 10-10-1 record, 2.89 GAA and .906 SV%. He takes on the Nashville Predators, who are on a bit of a hot streak, winning three straight and four of their last five games.

Soderblom has five goals, three assists, 30 SOG and eight PIMs through 20 games but will be a healthy scratch Friday as Detroit takes on Florida. Adam Erne will be replacing him in the lineup.

Kane left Chicago's previous contest vs. Tampa Bay after just 13 shifts and 12:57 TOI due to an undisclosed injury and will sit out Friday as well. Kane has stated it is not a bad injury, just a lingering one, which is good news as the 34-year-old is leading the Blackhawks in both points (27) and assists (20) this season.

Campbell allowed two goals on 17 shots (.882 SV%) as he took the loss in a low-scoring affair vs. Winnipeg in his previous start. The 30-year-old's first season in Edmonton has been horrendous, with his 8-7-1 record, .877 SV% and 3.80 GAA. He will be hoping to better his numbers when he takes on the New York Islanders Thursday, who have won four of their last five games after a 6-2 win over Vancouver on Tuesday.

Tarasenko suffered a hand injury early in Saturday's game vs. the Wild and will be re-evaluated in one month. In addition to Tarasenko's injury, the Blues also lost Ryan O'Reilly for six weeks due to a broken foot. Jake Neighbours was recalled from the AHL to help replace Tarasenko on the wing.

Smith was a healthy scratch for the Bruins' previous game but will draw back into the lineup on the fourth line Tuesday. Smith has a goal, three assists, 24 SOG and six PIMs through 19 games while playing a bottom-six role this season.

Mrazek allowed four goals on 37 shots (.892 SV%) and picked up his third straight loss in a defeat to Nashville in his previous start. Mrazek will be hoping to improve on a horrendous start to this season, as he is 2-8-1 with a .874 SV% and 4.23 GAA. He draws a tough matchup with the Carolina Hurricanes, who will be looking to continue their current seven-game winning streak.
