Braun missed the morning skate because of an illness and is questionable to play in Minnesota. Tim Heed skated in Braun's spot and would replace him if Braun is unable to go.

Seeler has 12 points (2G/10A) in 49 games with Iowa (AHL) this season. The Wild have not announced who will draw out of the lineup in favour of Seeler.
Thompson returned to practice Monday but has yet to be cleared to play. He's getting closer but remains without a timetable for his return.
Thompson has missed some time with a lower-body injury earlier this season and has re-aggravated the injury. Thompson joins Mark Stone, Derick Brassard, Bobby Ryan and Gabriel Dumont as injured Senators forwards, so they will go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen tonight—a call-up from Binghamton (AHL) will be made this afternoon as well.

Johansen was rocked by Golden Knights’ forward William Carrier and was forced to exit yesterday’s shutout win and did not return. The Predators did not have an update on Johansen’s status post-game, but the Predators will be without their entire top-line if Johansen misses any time.
Thompson missed Saturday’s game vs. the Lightning after getting hurt on Friday and will miss at least two more games. Thompson could be back when the Senators return from their bye week.

Ellis missed the first 38 games of the season after undergoing offseason knee surgery, but will play his first game of the season tonight in Vegas. Ellis, who is expected to skate on a pairing with Roman Josi, is coming off of the best season of his career, in which he registered 16 goals and 22 assists (38 points) in 71 games. Ellis is one of the better offensive-defensemen in the NHL and makes the Predators that much more dangerous, especially on the power-play.
