We here at DailyFaceoff try to make being a Fantasy Owner as easy as possible. Each day, we will rank the day’s starting goalies based on their Projected Win%, Goals Against Average, and SV%. Win percentage and expected goals against are generated from Sportsbooks Odds and Implied Totals.

Pyotr Kochetkov (CAR vs. EDM) – 4% Rostered
With Frederik Andersen not expected to be available and Antti Raanta starting last night, there’s a chance that Kochetkov will start his first NHL game of the season. Kochetkov has appeared in seven career NHL games (three in the regular season and four in the playoffs), and he’s allowed 17 goals on 145 shots (.883 SV%). He draws a tough matchup with the Oilers in town, but he grades out as the best of some bad options on Thursday. The sportsbooks have Carolina as -138 home favourites (58.0 implied Win%), and the Oilers have the ninth-lowest implied total.
