Tarasov has not played since December 23rd and was moved to IR on Tuesday to make room for Jet Greaves to be recalled from Cleveland (AHL). Greaves was recalled to serve as Elvis Merzlikins' backup with Joonas Korpisalo unavailable for personal reasons.

Sorokin allowed four goals on 38 shots (.895 SV%) fo this second loss in three starts as he was downed by Edmonton his last time out. The 27-year-old has been sensational despite what his 14-13-1 record may show as he also has a 2.35 GAA and .924 SV%. He will face the Central Division-leading Dallas Stars, who rank fourth in goals per game (3.51) and 11th in shots per game (32.3).

Hintz left Sunday's game vs. the Panthers in the first period and did not return. The Stars did not have an update on his status post-game, so expect one during Tuesday's morning skate. Tyler Seguin moved up and skated with Jason Robertson and Joe Pavelski after Hintz left the game.

Jake Allen was announced day-to-day with an upper-body injury so Cayden Primeau has been recalled from the Laval Rockets (AHL) for the first time this season. The 23-year-old has struggled with Laval this season, with his 4-6-3 record, .890 SV% and 3.65 GAA but will back up Samuel Montembeault for Monday's game.

Allen has a 10-16-1 record, 3.52 GAA and .892 SV% this season but will miss Monday's game vs. Seattle as he is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Cayden Primeau has been called up on an emergency basis to replace Allen for the time being.

Desharnais has two assists, 19 PIMs, and a +1 plus/minus through 13 games with Bakersfield (AHL) and has been recalled to the Oilers Monday. The 26-year-old will make his NHL debut if he finds his way into Edmontons' lineup.

Foegele has missed the Oilers' previous two games with an undisclosed injury but will draw back into the lineup Monday as Edmonton takes on Los Angeles. The 26-year-old has four goals, three assists, 10 PIMs, 42 SOG and a -1 plus/minus through 28 games played.

He will take on the Los Angeles Kings, who won their last game 5-1 vs. Vegas and are 11th in the NHL in shots per game (32.2).

In his return, he will slot back in on the Red Wings' top line with Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond.

Geekie has four goals, 10 assists, 29 SOG, 16 PIMs and a +18 plus/minus through 30 games this season but will be a healthy scratch for the second time in four games Monday night as Seattle takes on Montreal.
