Kuemper allowed five goals on 29 shots in the Coyotes loss in Dallas on Monday. Kuemper was unavailable for Tuesday’s game due to a minor upper-body injury but is available to start tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Kuemper stopped 35 of 36 shots in 4-1 win in his first start against Columbus (Oct.23).
Markstrom allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Canucks loss in Washington on Tuesday. With Thatcher Demko out for 10 days, the Canucks will continue to ride Markstrom on Thursday. Markstrom stopped 24 of 26 shots in a 4-2 win in his first start against the Blackhawks this season.
Lehtera has been dealing with off the ice issues all season long and was a healthy scratch of the last four games and the Flyers finally decided to waive him.
Greer has not registered a point in five games with the Avalanche but has 13 goals and 16 assists (29 points) in 36 AHL games. There is no word who the 22-year-old will replace on Thursday.
Demko was dinged up in warmups on Tuesday and will miss at least 10 days with a minor sprain. Look for the Canucks to continue to lean on Jacob Markstrom while Demko is sidelined.
Bishop is dealing with a minor injury, so Landon Bow was called up to serve as Anton Khudobin’s backup. Despite not being available tonight, Bishop remains a candidate to start Saturday.
Hamonic missed Sunday’s game in Carolina after getting hurt last Friday in Washington. Hamonic was on the ice for Wednesday’s practice and today’s morning skate but remains a game-time decision.
Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Colorado on Tuesday. The win snapped a personal three-game losing streak for Bobrovsky, who will make his 37th start of the season on Thursday. The 30-year-old is 10-8-0 with a 3.03 GAA, .903 SV% and one shutout on the road this year.
Dahlstrom has been in the lineup for the last three games but will be replaced by Gustav Forsling on Thursday.
Forsling was a healthy scratch in Edmonton on Tuesday but will replace Carl Dahlstrom on Thursday. Forsling has one assist in two games while averaging 16:26 TOI/gm since returning from injury.
Perlini was a healthy scratch on Tuesday but will replace an injured David Kampf on Thursday. The 22-year-old winger has just three goals and one assist in 24 games since joining the Blackhawks via trade.
Tatar missed Tuesday’s game vs. the Ducks but is expected to play Thursday vs. the Jets. Tatar will be back on a line with Max Domi and Matthew Peca. He has 16 goals and 23 assists (39 points) in 53 games this season.
Price stopped 24 of the 25 shots that he faced in the Canadiens win over the Ducks on Tuesday. Price is riding a six-game winning streak, position a 1.33 GAA, .957 SV% and one shutout in the process. So far this season, Price is 12-9-2 with a 2.63 GAA, .908 SV% and two shutouts on home-ice.
Dubnyk allowed four goals on 39 shots in the Wild’s loss in Buffalo on Tuesday. Dubnyk has lost two in a row while allowing a combined six goals on 70 shots (.914 SV%). In his first start against his former team, Dubnyk was pulled after allowing three goals on six shots in a 7-2 loss (Dec.7).
Pirri burst onto the scene after being called-up from the AHL but has been held pointless for the last six games and played just 11:42 TOI on Tuesday. Pirri is expected to be replaced by Oscar Lindberg.
Lindberg has been scratched for the last three games but is expected to replace Brandon Pirri on Thursday. Lindberg has just nine points (2G / 7A) in 28 games this year.
Carpenter was hurt Tuesday in Tampa Bay and will be replaced by Tomas Nosek on Thursday.
Nosek was a healthy scratch on Tuesday but will replace Ryan Carpenter and face his former team on Thursday. Nosek has 11 points (6G / 6A) in 49 games this season.
Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Jets loss to the Sharks on Tuesday. The loss snapped a three-game personal winning streak for Hellebuyck, who faces the Canadiens for the first time this season on Thursday. The 25-year-old is 9-8-0 with a 2.91 GAA and .911 SV% on the road this season.
Morrissey will miss Thursday’s game but head coach Paul Maurice said that his is likely to return to the lineup on Saturday. Luckily for the Jets, they will be getting Dustin Byfuglien back tonight.
