Marino has missed the last 11 games after breaking bones in his cheek on February 6th. Marino skated on the second pair and second power-play unit in Monday's practice and could be back in the lineup on Tuesday.

Dumoulin has been out since November 30th after undergoing surgery to repair lacerated tendons in his left ankle. Dumoulin was back on the top-pair with Kris Letang at Monday's practice and could return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Simon was hurt on a hit from Sharks defenseman Radim Simek on Saturday and will miss at least a couple of weeks with an upper-body injury. Luckily for the Penguins, Nick Bjugstad was at practice on Monday and is expected to return soon.

Georgiev allowed five goals on 40 shots in the Rangers loss in Philadelphia last Friday. Georgiev has won four of his last six starts while posting a 2.64 GAA and .926 SV% and gets set to make his 30th start of the season on Tuesday. Tonight he faces a Blues team that has won seven in a row while averaging 3.71 goals per game.

The Oilers will get Yamamoto back much earlier than his original 2-to-3 week timetable. Yamamoto missed just three games with an ankle injury but will be back on a line with Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Smith allowed two goals on 41 shots in the Oilers win over the Jets on Saturday. It was a strong finish to February for Smith, who was 6-1-2 with a 2.63 GAA and .916 SV% in the month. Tonight he faces the Predators for the third time this season. He was terrific in the first two meetings, going 2-0-0 while stopping 57 of the 61 shots (.934 SV%) that he faced.

Saros stopped all four shots that he faced after replacing Pekka Rinne in the Predators blowout loss to the Oilers last night. Prior to Monday, Saros had started four straight while going 3-1-0 with a 2.44 GAA and .932 SV%. On Tuesday, Saros will face a Wild team that has gone 5-1-1 while averaging 4.29 goals for and 2.71 goals against in their last seven games.

Rinne allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Predators' loss in Chicago on February 21st. Juuse Saros started the last four games but Rinne gets the nod on the front-end of a back-to-back. Rinne has gone 10-7-3 with a 3.02 GAA, .896 SV% and two shutouts on home ice this season. In his first start vs. the Oilers, Rinne allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 4-2 loss (Jan.14).

Hutchinson will make his first start with the Avalanche after Pavel Francouz started the last seven straight games. Head coach Jared Bednar will use tonight's easy matchup to get Francouz a breather but he should start the remaining three games of the week. Hutchinson struggled with the Maple Leafs, going 4-9-1 with a 3.66 GAA and .886 SV%, but stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 4-1 win in his only start vs. the Red Wings (Dec.21).

Halak allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Bruins win over the Stars last Thursday. Halak is riding a six-game winning streak, posting a solid 2.24 GAA and .916 SV%. Tonight he'll face the Panthers for the second time this season--he stopped 31 of 33 shots in a 4-2 win in Florida back in mid-December.

Rask stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Bruins shutout win over the Islanders on Saturday. The win snapped an ugly two-game losing streak for Rask, who will start for the fourth time in five games on Tuesday. Rask is looking for his first win over the Lightning, having gone 0-1-1 while giving up six goals on 67 shots (.910 SV%) in his first two starts against them in 2020.

Anderson allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Senators' loss in Nashville last Tuesday. With Marcus Hogberg back at home due to personal reasons, Anderson will start in Pittsburgh with Filip Gustavsson as his backup. The veteran netminder has gone 4-9-1 with a 3.54 GAA and .891 SV% on the road this year while the Penguins have gone 6-1-1 with 4.00 goals per game in their last eight home games.

The Swedish netminder has been excellent for the Senators this season but will not be available for Tuesday's game in Pittsburgh. With Hogberg out, Filip Gustavsson has been recalled to serve as Craig Anderson's backup.


With very few weeks left in the regular season, Erne could be done for 2020. The bottom-6 winger has tallied just five points (2G / 3A) in 56 games this season.

Bobrovsky was scheduled to start vs. the Flames but "tweaked" something during warmups which led to Samuel Montembeault getting the nod for the Panthers. If the Panthers want a chance at making the playoffs, they need a healthy Bobrovsky. Luckily they're off until Thursday, so he should be good-to-go.

Norris being sent back to the AHL suggests that Anthony Duclair is set to return from injury. Norris had no points but fired nine shots in 17:55 ATOI in his first three NHL games.

Marcus Hogberg was not on the ice for Monday's practice, so you have to think Gustavsson's call-up is related to a Hogberg injury. Gustavsson has gone 15-5-3 with a 3.28 GAA and .885 SV% in 23 AHL games this season.
