Gibson stopped 37 of the 38 shots that he faced in the Ducks win in St. Louis on Saturday. The win snapped an ugly three-game losing streak for Gibson, who is now 2-5-0 with a 2.90 GAA and .913 SV% in seven road starts. The Capitals come into Monday's game having won four of their last six (4-1-1) in Washington while scoring 4.14 goals per game.

Byron suffered a knee injury in Washington on Friday and it will require surgery on Tuesday. Bryon will miss several weeks and will likely be moved to IR so Montreal can call-up reinforcements from Laval (AHL). Someone like Ryan Poehling is a logical replacement for Byron.

Drouin suffered a wrist injury during Friday's game in Washington, was placed on IR on Saturday and will miss several weeks after undergoing surgery on Monday. Tomas Tatar moved back to the top-line with Drouin out and Charles Hudon will likely remain with the team while he is out.

Domingue has gone 2-1-1 with a 2.25 GAA and .918 SV% in four games since joining the Binghamton Devils. He was great for the Lightning last season, going 21-5-0 with a .908 SV% but was relegated to the AHL after the Lightning signed Curtis McElhinney. He was acquired by the Devils and has been called up with no one going the other way, a sign New Jersey will carry three goalies for the time being.

Luostarinen, 21, appeared in three games with the Hurricanes while Erik Haula was out. He will likely head out to Chicago to serve as an extra forward and will head back to the AHL when the Hurricanes return home. Luostarinen has five goals and three assists (eight points) in 12 AHL games.

Holtby allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Capitals win in Boston on Saturday. Holtby is riding a six-game winning streak while posting a stellar 2.09 GAA and .929 SV%. Twarynski has spent most of the season with the Flyers, where he has just one goal in 14 games. He heads back to the AHL to make room for Morgan Frost to join the Flyers for the first time in his career.

Frost, who has picked No.27 overall in 2017, is one of the Flyers' top prospects and has registered 12 points (5G / 7A) in his first 16 career AHL games. Frost takes Carsen Twarynski's spot on the roster and should make his NHL debut in Florida on Tuesday.

Vaakanainen appeared in the last three games with the Bruins before being sent to the AHL in a "paper move." He has not recorded a point but has averaged 17:25 TOI/gm and will likely be in the lineup in New Jersey on Tuesday.

Gaunce has spent the entire season with Providence, where he has recorded four goals and three assists (seven points) in 11 games. He spent the first five years of his career with the Canucks, where he had 15 points (6G / 9A) in 117 career NHL games.

Hutton allowed five goals on 29 shots in the Sabres loss to the Hurricanes on Thursday. Hutton has lost five consecutive starts while posting an ugly 3.80 GAA and .880 SV%. He really hasn't played well and isn't a good option against a Blackhawks team that has four 4-0-1 while averaging a ridiculous 4.80 goals per game in their last five.

Fleury gave up five goals on 26 shots in the Golden Knights loss to the Blackhawks on Wednesday. Vegas is in a bit of a tail-spin and Fleury comes into play having lost three of his last four starts while allowing 15 goals on 118 shots (.873 SV%). The Flames are also struggling, losing three in a row and only scoring three goals in those games.
