Oshie (upper-body) is day-to-day and will not play on Friday.

Oshie was hurt late in Wednesday’s game in Winnipeg and he will not play Friday in Colorado. With Oshie and Evgeny Kuznetsov out, players from Washington’s third line (Burakovsky—Eller—Connolly) will have to take on a larger role.

T.J. Oshie
Kuznetsov (upper-body) is day-to-day and will not play on Friday.

Kuznetsov was injured in Winnipeg on Wednesday and will not play Friday in Colorado. The Capitals will be shorthanded with both Kuznetsov and T.J. Oshie out with upper-body injuries. Lars Eller is expected to skate with Alex Ovechkin while Kuznetsov is out.

Evgeny Kuznetsov
Berglund will be back in the Buffalo lineup on Friday.

Berglund was a healthy scratch on Tuesday, but will replace Evan Rodrigues in the lineup on Friday. Berglund is expected to see some time on the Sabres 21st ranked power-play, giving hime some punt value in daily fantasy. Berglund has had a slow start to the season, picking up just four points (2G / 2A) in 16 games.

Patrik Berglund
Andrighetto (lower-body) will be back in the Colorado lineup on Friday.

Andrighetto has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury, but will replace Matt Nieto on the Colorado fourth line. Andrighetto has moved up and down the lineup this season so don’t be surprised if he sees some middle-6 ice-time during the game. He has just one goal on 12 shots in six games this season.

Sven Andrighetto
Rask will start Friday in Dallas.

Rask allowed three goals on 14 shots after replacing Jaroslav Halak in the Bruins 8-5 loss to the Canucks on November 8th. After his personal leave, Rask is ready to start tonight in Dallas. Rask has had some struggles this season and will be in tough vs. a good offence with an extremely banged up blueline in front of him.

Tuukka Rask
Hutton will start Friday in Winnipeg.

Hutton made 29 saves on 30 shots in the Sabres win over the Lightning on Tuesday. Hutton has impressed in recent games, winning three in a row while turning aside 70 of 74 shots (.950 SV%). However, he draws a brutal road matchup tonight in Winnipeg—the 32-year-old is 2-4-0 with a 2.69 GAA and .907 SV% on the road this year.

Carter Hutton
Dubnyk will start Saturday vs. the Sabres.

Dubnyk allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Wild’ win over the Canucks on Thursday. Dubnyk has won three of his last four (3-1-0) while posting a 2.50 GAA and .916 SV%. Dubnyk has been impressive over 15 starts this season, including 5-1-2 with a 2.45 GAA and .928 SV% on home-ice this season.

Devan Dubnyk
Bishop will start Friday vs. the Bruins.

Bishop allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Stars loss to the Predators last Saturday. Bishop and Anton Khudobin have been splitting time and tonight is Bishop’s turn between the pipes. The 31-year-old is 4-2-1 with a 2.57 GAA, .918 SV% and one shutout on home-ice this season.

Ben Bishop
Crawford will start Friday vs. the Kings.

Crawford stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Blackhawks shutout win over the Blues on Wednesday. It was a much needed performance from Crawford, who snapped a five-game losing streak in the process. The 33-year-old returns home, where he is 3-2-0 with a 1.83 GAA, .934 SV% and one shutout in five starts this season.

Corey Crawford
The Coyotes have recalled Robbie Russo from Tucson (AHL).

Russo, 25, has registered eight assists in 13 games with Tucson this season. The former fourth-round pick has been called up because the Coyotes blueline is without Jakob Chychrun, Alex Goligoski and Jason Demers, who was injured last night. Russo has no points in 19 career NHL games (all with the Red Wings).

Robbie Russo
Demers left Thursday’s game with a lower-body injury; will be re-evaluated on Friday.

Demers was forced to leave Thursday’s game late in the third period after suffering an apparent right leg injury. Demers was unable to put weight on his leg as he was being helped off of the ice, suggesting that he could miss an extended period of time.

Jason Demers
Elliott will miss at least two weeks with a lower-body injury.

Elliott was forced to leave Thursday’s game vs. the Devils and will miss at least two weeks with a lower-body injury. With Michal Neuvirth already on IR, the Flyers will roll with Calvin Pickard and Alex Lyon as their goaltending duo for the time being.

Brian Elliott
Klingberg (hand) will miss at least five weeks.

Klingberg underwent surgery on his hand last Friday and will miss at least five weeks. Klingberg’s original timetable was “one month,” but head coach Jim Montgomery said he would “take that deal” if Klingberg was out for six weeks. This puts Klingberg on-pace to return in late-December/early-January which will give Miro Heiskanen an extended run on the Stars top-pairing and top power-play unit.
