Jones will start Monday in Colorado.

Jones allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Sharks’ overtime win over the Avalanche on Saturday. Jones has won three in a row while posting a 1.99 GAA and .929 SV% and he is a must-start again tonight as he faces the Avalanche once again. Jones is 11-8-1 with a 2.45 GAA and .912 SV% in 20 games on the road this season.

Martin Jones
Ward will start Monday in Washington.

Ward allowed seven goals on 41 shots in the Hurricanes’ 7-1 loss to the Penguins on Friday. After a rough outing, Ward was finally given a night off on Saturday, but will get right back in goal tonight in Washington. He has been solid against the Capitals this season, going1-0-1 with a 1.92 GAA and .915 SV% in two starts against them this season.

Cam Ward
Faksa (lower-body) will miss the Stars’ next two games.

Faksa was hurt in Saturday’s loss to the Capitals on Saturday and will miss the final two games before the All-Star break. This is a tough break for Faksa, who was playing some of the best hockey of his young career—he had one goal and eight assists in his last nine games.

Radek Faksa
Galchenyuk (knee) will not play on Tuesday.

Galchenyuk previously missed 18 games with a knee injury and has reportedly re-aggravated it and will not play on Tuesday. The injury is believed to have occurred on Saturday vs. the Sabres and the Canadiens are calling it a “minor injury” to the same knee. Head coach Michel Therrien added that Galchenyuk did not come back too soon and is day-to-day.

Alex Galchenyuk
Barrie (lower-body) will not play on Monday.

Barrie was listed as a game-time decision on Saturday, but was held out of the lineup and will miss his third consecutive game with a lower-body injury. Monitor Barrie’s status prior to Wednesday’s game vs. the Canucks.

Tyson Barrie
Pickard will start Wednesday in Vancouver.

Pickard allowed two goals on 36 shots in Colorado’s loss in Anaheim last Thursday. Spencer Martin started the last two games, but Pickard will go tonight vs. the Canucks. Pickard is 1-3-0 with a 2.48 GAA and .925 SV% in January and tonight he faces Vancouver for the third time—he’s gone 0-1-1 with a 2.43 GAA and .909 SV% in the first two.

Calvin Pickard
Hutton will start Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Hutton allowed three goals on eight shots after replacing Jake Allen in the Blues’ loss to the Capitals last Thursday. Carter Hutton
Bernier was actually the first goalie off of the ice.

Bernier allowed four goals on 20 shots after replacing John Gibson in Saturday’s loss in Minnesota. Gibson was on the ice for the morning skate, but Bernier was the first off, which suggests he goes tonight in Winnipeg. Bernier has struggled to a 4-4-0 record by posting a 3.57 GAA and .882 SV% in nine starts and three relief appearances on the road.

Jonathan Bernier
Price will start Tuesday vs. the Flames.

Price allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Canadiens’ loss to the Sabres on Saturday. Price has lost three in a row and five of his last six while posting a 3.83 GAA and .872 SV%. Price has struggled a lot recently, but has played very well on home ice this season—going 15-5-3 with a 2.22 GAA and .926 SV%.

Carey Price
Martin will start Monday vs. the Sharks.

Martin gave up three goals on 30 shots in an overtime loss in his NHL debut in San Jose on Saturday. It was a pretty good debut for the 21-year-old, who will get another crack at the Sharks tonight. Despite playing well on Saturday, it is difficult to trust a rookie netminder against an offence with as much firepower as San Jose possesses.

Spencer Martin
Pavelec will start Monday vs. the Ducks.

Pavelec allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Jets’ win over the Blues on Saturday. Pavelec has won each of his first two starts since being recalled from Manitoba (AHL). He has allowed a combined six goals on 70 shots (.914 SV%) and will make his third consecutive start tonight. Anaheim comes in having won five of their last seven.

Ondrej Pavelec
Ellott will start Monday in Toronto.

Elliott allowed three goals on 26 shots after replacing Chad Johnson in the Flames’ blowout loss to the Oilers on Saturday. Tonight will be Elliott’s 21st start of the season—while he’s been largely ineffective this season, he has posted a 2.19 GAA and .908 SV% in his last nine appearances, dating back to December 14th.

Brian Elliott
Puempel (concussion) is expected to return to the Rangers lineup on Monday.

Puempel has missed the last eight games with a concussion, but was cleared to play Sunday in Detroit. After serving as a healthy scratch yesterday, Puempel will replace Kevin Hayes (lower-body), who was hurt vs. the Red Wings. Puempel has scored five goals and one assist (six points) in 13 games since being claimed by the Rangers.
