The Ducks have sent Brandon Montour to San Diego (AHL).

Montour averaged 15:08 TOI/GM in five games since being recalled from San Diego. Montour failed to record a point and will swap places with Shea Theodore and goes back to the Gulls, where he has 21 points (7G / 14A) in 25 games this season.

Streit (shoulder) practiced on Wednesday but won’t play Thursday.

Streit has been sidelined since December 11th and is nearing a return, but it won’t come Thursday vs. the Canucks. Monitor his status as the Flyers head into their weekend back-to-back with the Bruins and Capitals.

The Oilers have sent Anton Lander to Bakersfield (AHL).

Lander had one goal and averaged just 6:57 TOI in four games during his call-up. Lander wasn’t great, but he’ll return to the AHL where he has an impressive 21 points (10G / 11A) in 13 games this year. His demotion might also be related to wanting him to play on a line with Jesse Puljujarvi, who was just recently sent down as well.

The Oilers have recalled Jujhar Khaira from Bakersfield (AHL).

Khaira, 22, was a third round pick in 2012 and appeared in 15 games with the Oilers last season, collecting two assists and 13 PIMS. In 24 games with Bakersfield this season the Surrey, B.C. native has eight goals and 10 assists.

Plekanec (illness) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Plekanec missed the Canadiens’ morning skate and will be a game-time decision tonight vs. the Jets. The Canadiens are banged up, so add Plekanec to a lengthy list. He has one goal and one assist in his last two games and 18 points (4G / 14A) in 41 games this season.

The Predators have claimed Derek Grant off of waivers from Buffalo.

Grant has picked up three assists and 19 penalty minutes across 35 games with the Sabres this season. The Sabers will planning to send him to Rochester (AHL), but the Predators have added some depth to their fourth line and sent Frederik Gauthier to Milwaukee (AHL).

Johnson will start Wednesday vs. the Sharks.

Johnson allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Flames’ loss in Winnipeg on Monday. Despite the loss, Johnson played very well for the second straight game and has now stopped 53 of the last 56 shots (.946 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he makes his third start vs. San Jose—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .903 SV% in the first two.

The Ducks acquired Jhonas Enroth from the Maple Leafs for a 2018 seventh round pick.

Late Tuesday night, the Ducks acquired Enroth from Toronto to shore up their goaltending depth, particularly at the AHL level, with Dustin Tokarski battling an injury. Enroth has had a very difficult season, going 0-3-1 with a 3.94 GAA and .872 SV% with the Maple Leafs and 2-1-0 with a 3.03 GAA and .904 SV% with the Marlies.

Condon starts Thursday vs. the Penguins.

Condon allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Senators win over the Oilers on Sunday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Condon, who will start again tonight vs. the Penguins. The 26-year-old draws a tough matchup, but has gone 5-2-3 with a 1.97 GAA and .932 SV% at the Canadian Tire Centre.

Luongo will start Wednesday in Brooklyn.

Luongo stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Panthers’ shutout in New Jersey on Monday. It was a great return to the crease for Luongo, who will make his 28th start of the season tonight in Brooklyn. In his first start against the Islanders, Luongo stopped 19 of 21 shots in a 3-2 overtime win.

Fleury will start Wednesday in Washington.

Fleury allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Penguins’ win over the Lightning on Sunday. He has won five consecutive games while turning aside 128 of the last 136 shots that he has faced (.941 SV%). Tonight he starts vs. the Capitals for the second time this season—in the season opener he allowed two goals on 41 shots in a 3-2 shootout win.
