Luongo (upper-body) is ready to return on Monday.

Luongo missed the Panthers’ weekend back-to-back wth an upper-body injury, but Sam Brittain was returned to the ECHL this morning, which suggests that Luongo is ready to go. With James Reimer starting both of the weekend games, expect Luongo to go tonight so Reimer isn’t starting for the third time in four days.

The Jets have recalled Brandon Tanev from Manitoba (AHL).

With Patrik Laine out, Tanev has been recalled and could draw into the lineup on Monday. Since being sent down in late-December, Tanev scored one goal with two assists (three points) in six games with Manitoba. Tanev or Chris Thorburn will play in place of Laine.

The Capitals have recalled Liam O’Brien from Hershey (AHL).

O’Brien, 22, appeared in 13 games with the Capitals last season, but he is set to make his season debut on Monday. Steve Mason
Bobrovsky will start Sunday vs. the Flyers.

Bobrovsky allowed five goals on 23 shots in the Blue Jackets’ loss in Washington on Thursday. The loss snapped a personal 14-game winning streak for Bob, who leads the NHL in wins (25), tied for fourth in SV% (.930) and tied for fifth in GAA (2.03). Tonight he will face his former team for the seventh time in his career—he has gone 5-1-0 in the first six meetings.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Vasilevskiy will start Sunday in Pittsburgh.

Vasilevskiy gave up four goals on 44 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Philadelphia last night. In his first start vs. the Penguins, the 22-year-old allowed four goals on 37 shots in a 4-3 loss.
