Mueller, 21, has six assists in 16 games with the Barracuda and has been recalled because David Schlemko is battling an injury. Mueller would make his season debut if Schlemko isn’t able to play—the 2013 No.18 overall pick has one goal and three assists in 50 career NHL games.

Tonight he will face the Maple Leafs for the second time this season. Toronto has lost five of their last seven (2-3-2) and Dubnyk stopped 31 of 33 shots in a 3-2 win in the first meeting.
Ryan has missed the last three games with a hand injury, but has been activated from IR and should play tonight in San Jose. Ryan has had a tough first quarter, picking up just eight points (3G / 5A) in 21 games this season.
Rask allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Bruins’ win over the Panthers on Monday. Rask has won three of his last four starts (3-0-1) while posting a 1.71 GAA and .941 SV%. Rask has been exceptional this season and tonight he starts in Washington. The 29-year-old has gone 8-2-1 with a 1.44 GAA and .950 SV% in 11 starts on the road.
Oshie has missed the last seven games with an upper-body injury, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Bruins. Oshie will skate on a line with Nicklas Backstrom and Marcus Johansson and comes in with eight goals and four assists (12 points) in 17 games this season. Activate him in all formats.
Howard has missed the last six games with a groin injury. The Red Wings went 3-1-2 while Howard was out and Petr Mrazek has played extremely well, which means that Howard will likely have to fight for the No.1 job again. He has played very well this season, posting a 1.82 GAA and .940 SV% in 11 starts and one relief appearance.
Nosek, 24, was recalled last week but never got into a game with the Red Wings. He returns to Grand Rapids, where he has two goals and eight assists (10 points) in 11 games this season.
Coreau allowed four goals on 36 shots in the Red Wings’ loss in Pittsburgh last Saturday, in what was his NHL debut. With Jimmy Howard being activated from IR, Coreau returns to Grand Rapids, where he has gone 8-5-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .923 SV% this season.

Boychuk was held out of Tuesday’s game with flu-like symptoms and is questionable for Thursday’s game vs. the Blues. If Boychuk can’t play, Scott Mayfield will remain in the lineup.

Larsen was knocked out after being crushed by Taylor Hall behind the Canucks net and had to be taken off of the ice on a stretcher. Larsen has had a tough return to the NHL, picking up just four assists in 17 games this season. Expect him to miss some time.
Fayne appeared in just 4:34 TOI before leaving the game. There is no word on how Fayne suffered the injury or how serious the injury is. Consider Fayne as day-to-day and questionable for Thursday and Friday’s games.
Puempel played just 2:52 TOI before he left with a concussion that he suffered after being high-sticked by Islanders’ forward Brock Nelson. Puempel’s status for Thursday’s game in Winnipeg looks grim.
Nash picked up one assist in 8:13 TOI before leaving last night’s game with groin injury. The Rangers are headed to Winnipeg for Thursday’s game and Nash is expected to travel with the team, but Nicklas Jensen has been recalled and could play if Nash is out.
Jensen, 23, has picked up eight goals and seven assists (15 points) in 21 games with Hartford this season. Both Rick Nash and Matt Puempel left last night’s game with injuries, so Jensen has been recalled and will travel to Winnipeg and Chicago with the team.
Lindholm has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury, but participated in Tuesday’s practice and travelled out west with the team. Monitor his status during Wednesday’s morning skate, but he should play on this trip.
Condon stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Senators’ shutout win over the Panthers on Saturday. Condon has stopped 55 of the last 58 shots (.948 SV%) and he will take over as the Senators’ No.1 with Craig Anderson not travelling out west. He draws a tough matchup vs. a Sharks team that has won six of their last seven.
Ward stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Hurricanes’ shutout win over the Lightning on Sunday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Ward, who is now 8-7-4 with a 2.09 GAA, .924 SV% and two shutouts on the season. Tonight he will face the Ducks for the second time in 2016-17—Ward allowed three goals on 26 shots in a 4-2 loss in the first meeting.
